When Gary and I met on largefriends, we instantly knew this relationship was different than any other. We have such similar backgrounds and likes, it was almost hard to believe this person existed. But after spending hours each day online, on the phone, and a wonderful vacation together, it was obvious to both of us that we found the person that completes us. A love like this comes along once in a lifetime, and we are very grateful to largefriends for making it possible!

On a whim after my split from my husband, I decided to sign up for largefriends. I did one search, and the first person that popped up was Jake. I read his profile, and it was like magic. Everything he loved or was interested in clicked with me. I sent him an email and the rest was history. After about a month of emailing, I decided to finally take the next step to meet him - I walked into his tattoo shop with a design in hand. Love at first sight...I never believed in that, except in fairy tales or movies, but this was the real thing. A bolt of lightning, a smack in the face...however you want to describe it, it happened to me. We are now living together in complete bliss and plan on getting married by the fall. He's everything I wanted and needed. I love him with everything I have. We fit perfectly. It just goes to show that taking chances and filling out that profile can make fantastic things happen.

Well it all began Five Years ago through your site, One night i was board and feeling blue so thought i would post a add on myself, well i thought I would stroll through the british men since i was born there, i happen to see this one that caught my eye well i wrote and three days later heard back , three months later he came to Canada, and six months later we were married it is five years now and the happiest years of my life , we are just finnishing with the Immigration and he will finally be a legal immigrint :) he is the best thing that happend to me and i cant thank this site enough for making it possible :) so girls and boys never give up there is someone out there for everyone :) HUGS* and thanks to this site its possible for many :))

Fernando and I met on LF in 2005, from the first email to now we literally spoke every day, he Flew to Australia from New York City in Septemer 2006 and is here till March ... so far so good, and we never know what the future may bring ... thanks LF :)

I joined this site in March after a painful separation from my husband after
14 years. I read a lovely profile by Chelmsford_man (Steve) I emailed him at the end of July and we discovered that we both have had similar problems in our previous relationships and we also had a lot in common, we both liked the same music, films, places of interest etc.
We started off slowly by firstly emailing each other through this site, then chatting on line again though large-friends, then we exchanged mobile numbers but only for texting each other, then we made a big decision to talk on the phone for the first time, we were both very nervous but seamed to get on really well. Then came the big step of our first date, even though we both knew what we looked like from the photos of large-friends and we had talked a lot on the phone we were both very worried about how we would be when we met, but we got on like a house on fire right from the start and we talked solidly for 4 hours over some drinks i
