    Quoting author:

Can you tell some of the genetic problems with interracial children, I havw never heard of any except for having ignorant relatives. Does that count as one. I worked in a hospital nursery for 11 years and never saw a baby born with genetic problems because of race...

    LOL That's funny.

I'll put it this way: If I'm in a room with 100 African-American men, I'll find 70% of them physically attractive.

Native American men from East Coast to Midwest: 50%

In a room of Caucasian (particularly Anglo) men, that drops to less than 10%.

If the men are dancing, the Caucasian preference drops to about 1% ;-D

This works out well, as Anglo-Saxon men tend to feel the same way about me.

No I don't think so.. Is complete natural to have a preference or tendence.

Nope. I very openly admit I think Asian women are the best and haven't changed that opinion.

However, of the 20 girls I've slept with, only 1 was an Asian, and of my 7 girlfriends, 2 of them were half-Asian.

You're only a racist if you, you know, HATE another race. I don't agree with a lot of Hispanic culture and customs, but I have more Hispanic friends and ex-girlfriends than anything else.

I think that's just what you want. We all have our preferences when it comes to dating. I like men who are smart, educated, who are professional, and who are respecful to women. I am an equal oppurtunist though when it comes to race, because I don't want to limit myself. If you want to date a certain race more power to you.

I dont think having a racial preference is racist, it is just about your own personal choice,I am black/caribbean i prefer black ,white and Hispanic men, that does not mean i would not date a man from another race other than the ones i mentioned it is just id rather go out with them,i am more so attracted to this specific group..

I sure hope not because I'm more attracted to other races physically than to caucasian.

    I think you look gorgeous.

Im my family, marrying your own race counts as incest. We don't do it!

To give my shallow version of an answer, I'm attracted to "womanly" (and I use that term loosely) body parts... breasts, hips, butt, thighs, etc. Certain races are more prone to have certain body types, but for me... if I like what I see and we match personality-wise, then I don't see why race should be an issue.

I am weird in that I don't tend to prefer my own race it seems. I have never dated someone caucasian. My past relationships look like a tour of the UN, and not the European section either. I like all cultures and have no problem dating someone of a different race or religion. I have nothing against dating caucasian guys. Just haven't found one I want to date yet.

I have a GENIUS for a son who has a white father and an very bright black mother!! If someone makes you happy go for it! I wasn't looking to date a white guy and I am not actively seeking one out now. In fact, I am leaning towards dating a black man only because I know the difficulties of inter-racial dating/marriage. So I don't feel it makes me a racist, do you?

I agree with Annie333. I have racial preferences that I look at first for a mate, but I don't think that is racist.

I am still keeping my eyes open, for anyone that will treat me good. To be totally honest, I have a much bigger problem with short guys.

Race doesn't enter into my dating equation. For others it's a preference like anything else. Some who might otherwise date interracially choose not to do so because this is America, and large segments of the population are still stuck in the stone age and they don't want to endure the potential problems associated with a society that has yet to come to terms with its racial diversity.

As for "slimmer nubile young nymphettes," I don't think the first question they ask a man is "Why do you like slimmer nubile young nymphettes?"

Racist is a term that's got some really bad connotations with it but, if you look at it from a different angle, then if you prefer the opposite sex for dating, you're sexist. If you have an age preference, then you're agist. If you prefer no children then... you're kiddist (haha I made that one up) but you get the gist. I hope.

If you have a particular preference for a particular race and don't hate the race you are ommitting from your preferences, then you're not racist. You just have certain tastes that's all.

I find that most of the other dating sites are really weight-ist, i.e. you can't be overweight or obese because if you are, your profile gathers dust and cobwebs. Pity. There's a lot of us cuddly ladies (and men) out there with super personalities being overlooked for the slimmer nubile young nymphettes (that in twenty years time might be in my situation LOL )

Okay, I've remained quiet on this topic up to this point......but GENETIC PROBLEMS W/INTERRACIAL BABIES??? And where is this information documented? I've never heard such a thing. I've heard of genetic problems with intra-family babies....but interracial?

I have three, smart; funny; gorgeous and HEALTHY interracial kids who are my life. Okay talking back a genetic defect? LMAO

    Really...........what rubbish!

Well some ethnic lines suffer from certain illnesses and diseases more than others so maybe thats what they were refering to

Athsma, diabetes etc... some groups are more likely to have it vs whites

I am half 1/4 russian/3/4 mexican so I guess I am a ticking time bomb! lol

I like certain looks and for some reason I am attracted to red heads blue/green eyes and soft pale skin ....far from my medium brown, black hair, brown eyed relatives....but who knows how that happened....opposites attract maybe?

Do I date hispanic women? Black women? Asian women? If I find them attractive and nice I wouldnt hesitate because race wasnt a factor in my dating decisions

But I will say, dating a black girl in Maryland was the most interesting experience of my life --- being the only mexican in a 10+ mile radius made for quite the evening stroll on our dates....guess they thought I was white???

I think that regardless of the racial or cultural difference of the couple, the main thing that it boils down to is whether either person is willing to put their happiness over what their family wants.

When I hear people say that they don't date outside their race because they may lose their family, I feel really sorry for them. I like to think that my family respects my life decisions and respects my judgement on what makes me happy. Why is it that your happiness is less important than what they feel about someone of another race?

I do not believe in trying to force someone to believe as I believe, neither am I interested in not doing something just because others don't like it. I also felt that if my loved ones wanted to give me grief about finally finding someone who loves me the way that I need and want to be loved, then my so-called loved ones did not really love me. Fortunately, no one in my family had to be tested on that. Everyone loves my honey and is happy for me. And I love them even more for loving me enough to want to see me happy despite their own personal beliefs.

To be honest I dont really care someones colour or religion, if you get on well together and you have the right chemistry then go for it!! Life puts enough crap in our way without thinking "I like her but pity bout the colour" It doesnt matter after all we all the same under those few layers of skin (belive me worked in A & E so seen the proof) We should just have fun with whoever we fall in love with and forget all the stuff that portions of society push on to us. Phew thats my little rant over lol

Racist = NO. It all **depends** on WHY. Having racial preference is smart if it's in relation to your [future] children because of all of the genetic problems with interracial babies, but if you are preferring a certain race for reasons OTHER THAN THIS then I'd say it is indeed racists because the reason above is the only logical reason to limit such a possibility and love is love and people are people - no matter the color, shape, or size !

It sounds to me like someone is guillable and has been listening to the views of white extremists.

Did it never occur to you to question this kind of bullsh1t?
