I adore big guys but... Romance

I adore big guys but I wonder why so many try to play/act the "big sweet teddy bear" type?
Help me out here guys...There's nothing wrong with a sweet man, but there's an overwhelming number of overweight/large men who think that they are expected by women to be:
    overly sweet
    in the background/ submissive/ passive

I say, be yourself and don't try to play a role!
If you're lovable and naturally sweet, more power to you. But guys, don't feel that because you're of a larger stature that you have to hide under the "always-a-friend-nothing-more" stereotype.
    Just be you :)

i believe we are put in that position to be the shoulder to cry on but the never the one to cry over after so much of being told "your a really nice guy but i dont like you that way" we just kinda fall into the routine of being the teddy bear in the background. from personal experience i always felt like the always a friend and nothing more but maintained my sense of self

I totally agree. It took me a long while to realize this for myself. I am a nice and friendly guy but I'm alos myself. I do think other BHMs should know this. Thanks for "putting it out there".
