TariEsseMor write: Wow, I'm not the only person who collects sharp objects! I feel somewhat normal! What's your favorite sword for those who collect? Mine is the Dark Sentinal
I collect Katana & Wakazashi's. I also like Tanto's. I don't like those cheaply made replicated pieces of garbage with the nylon trimming vendors set at discount prices. I prefer my swords with a full tang and the few that I have can actually be used. I like replicated movie swords. Conan's, Drizzt D'urden's, Tom Cruises sword from The Last Samurai, Kenshin's Reverse blade, Saito's blade. I also like Sai's and throwing stars. ^_^ I have a few more swords that are European.
Collections...WOW! I have so many! How about I just list ten of them. In particular order...
1) Asian Home Decor
2) Japanese Swords
3) Asian Clothing
4) European Swords
5) European Clothing (Renaissance)
6) Candles & Candle Holders
9) Cute stuff (Hello Kitty)
10) Pen Pal Snail Mail (You know the mail that comes in a real envelope with a real stamp in the little box out by the road or the one you have to have a key to get into at the post office?)

As a proud Taurus, I have a small collection of what I affectionately call my "bull sh*t". :) Figurines, zodiac symbols, stuffed animals. In Mexico, I picked up a 2 pair of bull horns near a bullfighting arena, and a wine flask wrapped in hide, complete with a hoof. Not sure why I bought that last item - seemed like a good idea at the time. :/
I also collect handmade Native American items: especially dreamcatchers, but also art, pottery, baskets, peace pipes (for display only ;)), and things with a wolf or southwestern theme.
I have a shot glass collection (nowhere near 800) and my friends & family bring them back for me as souveniers when they travel since I hate to fly and hardly ever go anywhere anymore. :)
I have hundreds of vhs movies, and buy more all the time since they're so cheap these days.
I collect 22oz Yankee & Colonial candles and burn them fairly regularly.
I used to collect beanie babies, but realized when I paid $250 for a bear it was getting out of hand, and they are now packed away in boxes, hopefully to pass on to my future children.
I collect antique bottles. I've even dug some of them. Glass is a passion. I've also done some blown glass.(Darn hard work!) My favorites are inkwells, ummm, no medicine bottles, ummmmm, pickle bottles, well, you see when collecting it is hard to pin one thing down. Isn't OCD great?
Gee, I bet you could get a lot of refrigerator magnets from this group from allllllllll over.:)
