I happen to think that a guy with an accent from the UK tends to be even more appealing. Of course he has to be a good guy - fun - nice - smart. But all things being equal - those accents get me every time!!!

i love all accents...and being from MA i have to say a guy with a boston accent i think is pretty hot too.

I love foreign accents....very much a turn on....there is only one accent I really can't stand and that is a Boston accent....dont' know why.

I love accents but sometimes mine drives me crazy. I live in Alabama & still have a little bit of one. Just mainly with certain words. I work over the phone for the company I work for. I usually have to hear comments a few times a week about "where are you all located at", "I knew you were somewhere down there", "Say it again"... After a while it's not so cute anymore. lol I guess to others it's more noticable. I always think of that Tom Petty song "Southern Accents" everytime someone brings it up.

I have a broad scottish accent which seems to go down well - i love a south african, irish NZ and oz as well on women

I'm with the majority on this one, I think. As long as its articulate, most accents are attractive but I have a particular soft spot for Scottish or Irish ;0)

I think accents in general are extremely sexy. My favorites are Australian, British, Scottish, Irish, Spanish, Cajun... wait. This is turning into quiet a list. I think my answer is "yes" accents are a plus. Any questions?

Oh yes, Sayyid and Sawyer are smoking, but you know who I am the most attracted to on that show? The guy that was in the wheelchair. (Sorry, but I am really bad with names). To me he is so very, very sxcxy!!. I think that I am attracted to him because he is not "traditionally" attractive. But I will admit that there is a bit of sadness in his eyes. Knowing his back story on the show, that sadness draws me to him. (Yes, I am a sucker for a sad story).

Hey jjiggl...I believe you are referring to Mr. Echo...right? I'd have to give it to you. He is pretty hot! But I have to say that Sawyer or Sayid is pretty hot too. So, I guess I could say that I like accents too. But it's not a prerequisite for me. lol

Oh yes, what is it ladies with accents??? I am the same way, Scottish, Irish, French, Spanish, Italian...whew. I just don't get it. Even a sweet little country drawl makes me melt a bit. There is a man at work that's not particularly nice looking but as soon as he talks he turns into the most gorgeous man ever. I even stutter when he's around. Silly me...hee hee hee

I love German and French accents, but I go ga ga over men with Nigerian, Spanish and Jamaican accents!! That Nigerian guy from lost--(I can't think of his name right now)--can whisper in my ear anytime!!

I love american accents... esp when a man says "yes ma'am" my knees turn to jello... lol

I'm fascinated by accents - I'd be hard pushed to pick a favourite, but as long as it is spoken intelligently and articulately it will grab my attention!

I grew up in southern Ohio/northern Kentucky so I have a little bit of a southern drawl. Not too bad. I've been told it's charming. I could care less what others think.
