Where has the romance gone?

It seems like going out to eat anymore with your partner is as far as romance goes now adays. What happened to the " sweep" you off of your feet courtships? When I am with a partner I go out of my way to make them feel wanted, appreciated, respected. and loved. I don't need flowers, and candy all of the time. I don't need a weekend rendevous, but an occasional suprise or just an unexpected passionate kiss would be nice. It seems to me that there isn't any effort made after the first few dates. Do I dare even mention the sexual aspect to this? I dunno, maybe I just haven't found the "one" yet. * sighs * What does a woman have to do to be treated as such these days?????

Exactly. I don't need anything spectacular... Just something totally out of the normal realm of daily living. Come up behind me, and kiss my neck , and walk away. That makes you feel good, and wanted. Tell me i am beautiful once in a while, or that unexpected passionate kiss. I do unexpected things to him all of the time. His mouth drops ,and he smiles at me. I guess we just think differently... This isn't a new relationship i am in, we have been dating for over 2 years now. I still want some romance, to light that spark , that sets up the evenings......

I agree, not much effort and the guys I have been out with only do it with an agenda in mind...I would prefer a hug and a kiss any day, one that is open and not asked for.
