To Pierce, or Not to Pierce? Just Chat

    ... thats the question!

I've been considering this for a very long time. Nearly did it last year, then chickened out at the last minute.

Tell me ladies... is it worth it? Did it hurt that bad when you had it done? What about infection? Does it add or take away from your partners? What about you guys? Is it a turn on, or a turn off?

Yep, i went in for both, walked out with one! But it didnt look right, so back six months later for the other, and surprisingly, it didnt hurt at all .I had a breast biopsy,

I have 18 piercings all up, and the Tragum, one of them anyway [lika the first nip], was very painful, tung was easy, no pain relief, or numbing mouth wash.

Like someone else mentioned, USE a REPUTABLE piercer.
And When taken out, especially with the eyebrow piercing, CAN leave a nasty scar.

Worth getting, and hurts so good~~! ;)

The navel is not a problem not even a flinch, the hurt so bad I almost threw up! It has healed well, but it does hurt like hell!

Getting your n*pples pierced is the worst pain you feel, possibly for more then a month in my personal expierence. I had both of mine done and it simply hurt/sensitive for about 2months and change.

Now don't get me wrong. I think its sexy and lockin up the tongue with the bar/hoop whichever you prefer is a total turn on, but it hurts. If your willing to endure the pain for a luxary go for it. ;)

I think piercings are great, just dont go too extreme with them. The big fad now is to stretch the holes in your ears! its interesting, but i would never do it. I recently got my eyebrow done, and i love it! It kind of gave me a boost of confidence cuz nobody thought i would ever be able to do it. And i have been told that it is sexy! i dont think i would be able to, no matter how much my partner likes it. I am a huge wimp with pain and i dont like needles anyways.... kind of ironic since i want a tatoo...ahaha

Well for me its definetly TO PIERCE, I have 7 piercings, my ears, a marilyn monroe (which is a piercing above my lip to tha left), also have 14 tattoos, all have healed fine, and the one I can say that hurt tha most was my lip, it brought tears to my eyes, ......curiously enough it felt kinda good
Its definetly a turn on for tha men, and I find it makes me feel VERY SEXY.
In my opinion it definetly spices up ones life

Far better to pierce than to tattoo ! One can always change their mind about being pierced, but not about being tattoed. HOWEVER... and only one has a problem. Her problem being that they never completely healed ove, and this causes constant crusting, moderate pain, and the continuous risk of serious infection.
Always remember what my dear old mom said, "The n*pple is the rip-cord of the bo*obie" and be mindful of the risk yr taking when people who aren't doctors stick you with needles.

First time poster, thought I'd add my two cents.
I have my ears and n*pples done. I got my n*pples pierced last October, and I'll tell you. I thought getting my ears pierced hurt a heck of a lot more than the n*pples. I was actually really surprised at the lack of pain I experienced when getting them done.
And in regards to the poster who said something about a guy thought his n*pples hurt more than the prince albert one: When guys get their nipples pierced, they go pretty deep into the skin. Whereas for girls, they do it pretty shallow so they don't damage the milk ducts. Since guys don't have to worry about lactating when they get pregnant, they don't have to worry about damaging them. Therefore their piercings are deeper.
Did any of that make sense? It's late and I need sleep, lol.

First time poster here...have to jump in on this subject though. I have 5 piercings in each ear: 3 piercing in my lower on the top...and both of my tragus (thats the little part of your ear not connected to the lobe). I had my right nipple pierced a few years ago and it was one of the most sexiest things I have ever done. Unfortunately for me, my body rejected it and the ring worked its way out. I really miss it. Funny thing is most people who know me would think me way too conservative to have ever even thought of getting one of those...Besides the fact that it was very erotic in itself, I guess I loved the fact that I knew I had it and no one else did. It was very intimate and private...I wish I could get another one, but only if I could figure out a way for my body not to reject it this time!

LokiRook....I think I would have run a mile, Yes!!!
BUT....He assures me its all still in working order and that his wife adores the piercings!
    I asked her...N she does!!!!!

I do believe, Loki, that if you wear a plastic ball in your tongue, you will not chip the enamel. I liked the metal balls but I always wore the plastic to protect my teeth. Even the dentist told me, they dont like tongue piercings, but if youre going to do it, use the plastic balls.

New Patient today, youngish guy, with terminal cancer, but still pretty OK at the moment, and I had to go in today and fit a catheter, and he says..." You might get a bit of a suprise".....
Well!!!!.......Was hard to find a space down there amongst the gold n silver ...MY first thought was ..FFS!!!,My second thought was Oh Wow, now that looks pretty.
My other thoughts...were some that nurses realy should not have...I did manage the catheterisation.....eventually!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey rock, I'm like you! I have 11 peircings, and everyone sort of freaks out when I say that, but they're all in my head! 10 in my ears - three cartilage two lobe on each ear - and my nose done. I had the 3 cart's and 2nd lobes done all in one shot and while it wasnt painful at first, it meant I couldnt lay on my sides when I went to bed for a while!! My nose hurt the worst, but that's really short lived and easily forgotten. I wanted my tongue for a while but I am paranoid about the enamel damage to the teeth and just having something through my tongue in general. I personally would NEVER consider n!pples or the 'down there' peircings. I hear they're fantastic, but it's too weird for me!!

I have my belly pierced and had infections for over six months until I decided to change to gold. It improved within days. It appears - and yes I already knew this - that I'm allergic to anything that's not gold. So perhaps the nipple piercing will be out. The impending infections will give me grief no doubt....then there's the blood I'm told....

No prob. yeah life does have a way of keeping us moving doesnt it? lol. My reccommendation is to do them both at once. Mainly because, if you get the one done and really like it, remembering the pain of the first one might stop you from doing the second one. lol. I was told "oh if you can get your tongue pierced, you can do a nipple with no problem!" The next time i see that lady, i think i might smack her lol. On the upside, it doesnt swell or anything like the tongue. Oh... and one more thing, if you get it done, make sure the man youre with isnt totally turned off by piercings! lol

Ooooopss.. Was asking about the B00BS... LOL But all the info is great!

Thanks Chicky dear... I come and go from time to time. Life keeps me busy, thats for certain!

Well, what is your pain tolerance like?? lol. I have had a few piercings, and actually, I miss them all. Tongue was easy. The worst part is the swelling afterwards that can last up to two weeks. I found that drinking nothing but ice cold ice water helps that a lot. I had my eyebrow done but it kept getting infected just about every time make-up got near it. I had one nipple pierced. HURT LIKE HELL!!!!! The only reason I took that out was because I got pregnant. I do miss it, but I'm not too sure I want to do it again. lol.
I had a friend who has her 'little man in the boat' pierced, she loves it, I personally cant bring myself to do it. I will tell you the best one to have for sexual purposes I believe is the tongue. It feels wonderful! The nipple comes in a close second though. So take your pick, whatcha thinking about?
