Has anyone innocently winked at someone, and then received an email back from them with a rude, sordid, filthy, , slimy, uninventive, boring, crude sexual proposition?

(and imagine you haven't even chatted with that person before)

Rude emails from immature or mentally challenged individuals seem to be such a waste of time. Some people need to grow up move out their mama's basement and get a life.

I like the idea of being a degenerate person. Sounds fun... very biblical. But then one of the crowning acheivements of my life was when a family values organisation called me the "evilest man in Britain". I was so flattered I wrote a thank you letter and they promptly took it off their website :-(

VeniVici: Ah, the price one must pay for being good looking, well built, and beautiful.

Probably has to do with testosterone or the lose of brain function with the onset of physical excitement.

Miss Solitaire:

Methinks I sense a bit of sarcasm, and coming from such a lovely maid...be careful not to get too unwound.

To my dear friend Sharpe?I take your latest compliment in earnest measure, for it is just as precious as it is rare.

I honestly believe that it takes no supplementary effort to use ones brain than it takes to wind spaghetti around ones fork. I take pleasure in doing both, and so should everyone.

Here again I take risk in sounding glib, but without that risk, the victory of saying something worthwhile is empty. If I speak well, I gain experience and become worthy of being listened to. If I talk or write for no other pleasure than to hear myself say things, write things, I am but a puddle claiming to an ocean. But if I take a chance, and risk the possibility of sounding absurd, I also open the door to learn from those who know far more than I. In other words, I am taken down many notches, which everyone, at some time or other NEEDS. Without making the effort to rise to the occasion and exercising our minds, we are stunted and so we become one dimensional.

I noticed that my brief opening post to this topic was very judgmental, very generalized, and it seemed as though I was trying to incite gossip. My last post, as long as it was, was my lame way of saying, ?sorry, I was wrong?. I just have an odd way of saying it.

Cheers,

Lynda (the absentminded demigod)

It is apparent to me that (one of the many) definitions for "pervert" is: : - A person whose behavior deviates from what is acceptable or normal, especially in sexual behavior. Knowing this, I have come to assume that the definition for a "pervert"and or for "pervertedness" is the exclusive preference by each person individually, thus determining which behavior or actions each individual themselves terms as "perverted".

It does not seem to define however any level of craftiness or seductiveness, of which Sharpe seems to be eluding to, as Sharpe states; "A real pervert is someone who is clever enough to groom you and to seduce you and then to have their wicked way with you,...'

Well...If any such "degenerate" person, which can be defined as: (one who has fallen to an inferior or undesirable state, especially in mental or moral qualities)
who may behave in a perverted manner, as we have acknowledged is (a person whose behavior deviates from what is considered the norm", and unto that clarification such a person could also be considered "reprobate" which is defined as: (A morally unprincipled shameless person), who in turn behaves in an aberrant manner, that is by definition, a manner that is: (deviating from the proper or expected course), which lends to a the idea of being seductive or crafty in nature or plan, and when such person behaves in this aberrant mode, and is inclined to being associated as a "miscreant", as being defined as:
(An evildoer; a villain), then I pray that we would be safe to assume that a person defined in the above mentioned ways is arguably an UNDESIREABLE person.

Maybe not perverted, but undesirable.

I surmise that due to the fact that the term "pervert", or "perverted" is so indefinable without additional descriptions or words defining coinciding negative undesirable characteristics or behavior, and are subject to the inspection of each individuals preference, ultimately makes it impossible for me to fairly judge or label anyone in a general manner with the name "pervert" when speaking to the masses.

This is clearly meant to be like a type of allegorical masque. You are making it sound as if I have caused the fount of virtue to dwindle and the senses to droop, whilst you are going to be perceived as a great restorer causing virtue to spring again and routs the powers of oblivion and detraction.

Thou being that sacred Phonix, that doest rise,
From th'ashes of the first: Beames from thine eyes
So vertully shining, that they bring,
To large friends dating, a new Spring.

A spark of virtue by the deepest shade
Of sad adversity is fairer made;
Nor less advantage doth thy beauty get;
A Venus rising from a sea of Jet!

It's nice to see you coming alive and being at your most intelligent and being sexy and posting at your best.

I'm impressed.
Sharpy.

These guys who come out and ask for sex aren't perverts they are just looking for sex with mutually minded adults, nothing wrong with that if you both consent to it. They are in fact being totally honest from the moment that they contact you. Give them some credit at least for that.

Sharpe... so glad to hear you have so much experience with this. These men are NOT honest or up front that they are only after sex. They outright lie to you and tell you they want a serious relationship and lead you on.... and then BOOM! Oh well, I think most women who have been online for any time at all know exactly what a pervert is. But thanks anyway.

To: Kenwannap,

Thank you for your suggestive advice. I appreciate it.

However, I am perfectly aware of the high percentages of pervs online, and what to do about them whether to block them, ignore them report them, or join them. I am no shrinking violet. I am beyond blushing. The "bloom is off my rose" so to speak.

I only began this topic not because I was scared of or unaware of pervs, neither was I surprised by the problem. I was merely taking a poll out of curiosity to see if on LF it was prevalent, or maybe if this person was on a perving streak here on this website in particular.

I totally disagree with you.

A real pervert is someone who is clever enough to groom you and to seduce you and then to have their wicked way with you, but by then you will think that it was you who had control of things.

So how can you know who the perverts are? Just because they chat to you for a few weeks doesn't make them descent honest guys, just very clever perverts.

I think what you're saying is that it's ok to go with a pervert as long as it's you who agreed to the time and place and that it's been your decision not theirs (girls can be perverts too) and more importantly that you have labelled them as being a 'none pervert.'

What actually is a pervert? Someone who is straight to the point and doesn't lie about his sexual intentions? Or the guy who lies and cheats and cons you into bed? I think it's the latter.

A pervert is someone who corrupts or leads someone astray, the first guy doesn't cum under this umbrella!

Sharpy.

I wish that I would get rude, sordid, filthy, , slimy, uninventive, boring, crude propositions!

You should be so lucky.

Tell you what if you feel really mad about it, then get it off you're chest and send one to me, I really won't mind, not a problem, honestly, I almost see it as my duty, think of me as your sweet Sir Galahad helping you out here.

Theo you?re far too intelligent and much too witty to send someone a piece of crap, lackluster, discourteous email such as that.

If you had sent me an email, it would?ve been eloquent, hilarious, and amusing. (Just like the post you just put here).

This guy was off the charts incommodious.

Veni... it is all a part of the online dating experience. Like I tell people, not all men online are perverts, but you can bet all perverts are online... you have weed through the bad to get to the good ones. You just have to delete and block. You can always report them as well.
