I think there is real love, I thought I had it but I was wrong, but it wont stop me looking for the right person for me. Sometimes you have to make mistakes before you know whats real, but thats life, you live and learn, it's what makes it interesting. Im hopeful I'll find someone I can make truely happy, and be happy with :)

I am always optimistic. I was married for over 12 years to a man that I loved but was not IN LOVE with. I got married pretty young and didn't know the difference. Then he told me he was GAY and then I knew WHY I felt like that. We were more like brother and sister. That's why I felt like I never had passion. It was AWFUL>>>>> ugh. Anyway, enough of that. Like I said, I am always hopeful and will NOT give up. :0)

Yep, there is true love it is a matter of time. I think if some people would not have so many hang ups they would find themselves with their ideal mate. :-)

True love is within all of us.. we only need to find the yin to our yang.

I looked thru all the post under this topic..and in my humble opinion you're all BEAUTIFUL AND/OR HANDSOME!! The problem is a lot of us have a tough time believing in ourselves. The first part of any success comes from within. Okay.. easier said than done. I know that. For I am one of those who doesn't really believe in her attractiveness or beauty. Alas - am I also destined to be unhappy - knowing how to fix the problem yet still unable to?

Such is life I suppose..

Yes there is REAL LOVE out there, but when u find it it takes time to learn about each other and grow together. u dont just give up on it after one stupid mistake!!! After all, u r getting to know each other and that takes time.

Just remember....whatever is meant to be, will be. Sounds cliche, but it's true. There is a reason for everything, and maybe those ladies not responding back means that they just weren't meant for you, for whatever reason, good of bad. I know that I've encountered the same problem on here, even though the guy is one that initiated the contact. Keep your head up, cause when the one does come along you won't want to be jaded.

Manmountain, I was wondering if your luck has changed since your post as you seem to have got the interest you were after.

Did the e-mailing lead anywhere in your hunt for an honest BBW?

You're not ugly at all Paul-in fact you're quite a hunk!
Maybe you've just not met the right lady yet.
Do keep looking-I'm sure she's out there waiting for you!
All the very best
Karen x

Sweetie, not only are you handsome, but I have to admit that I would just adore listening to your lovely English accent! That is just me, and like the other ladies have said, sometimes you have to give it longer to find your special one. If you want to come to America, woman will no doubt be falling at your feet! I'm not the only gal here who loves hearing sexy accents!

Have a wonderful day!

I would certainly hope that the reason is not that you, or I, are that ugly. Maybe the people you are replying to are a bit skittish about the whole idea of meeting/befriending people this way. I rarely initiate the emails because, personally, I am careful about who I call a friend. I think that it might also have a lot to do with peoples attitudes about friendship, love, sexuality and their ability to express their feelings and ideas while exposing themselves to the rampant criticism. Those ideas apply not only here on this site but anywhere else. An example might be somthing like; how many of us are comfortable enough to go into a crowd and just start greeting different people whom we've never met? Personally, I always respond to people who write to me. I've made some good friends here. But that's myself, I've never had a problem with greeting different people. It's been alluded to that perhaps some of the people are trying, incorrectly, to respond. That might be true in a very small number of instances but responding to a greeting is a really simple thing to do and takes most people only a moment to figure out. If the people who you've sent a greeting to don't reply then maybe the only thing that you're missing is a chance to meet a selfish and uncaring individual.

Hello all,

Closure is something I think that none of us ever really get! Most of the time I think people who do not respond or start and stop are doing that for their own reasons and it has nothing to do with you.

In fact, I think chemistry is over rated. Sometimes, it blinds us to who people are inside or it decives us into thinking that love=chemistry. I am really looking for someone who is willing to build chemistry, friendship and spirit with me. :-)

Angelkat - If someone sends you an email you can reply to tem even if you're not a paying member. What you can't do though is initiate any email conversations.

biigbiird write:
Nope you're not ugly .... and anyway I think it's generally down to chemistry rather than pure looks.
I understand where you're coming from ... I don't feel like I've ever really known love but I still like to think it's out there somewhere, and I know I'm not prepared to settle for anything less just for the sake of having someone around.
So don't give up, keep smiling, and above all, be yourself!

will keep trying
