Met this fantastic man online. :) We met this week in person.
He's a handsome, sexy, charming, sensual, funny, and intelligent man. We've gone out twice this week. He dishes out compliments like candy! He didn't take his eyes of me for more than 30 seconds when we went to a late dinner the other night. Then the Tequila came out .... It was fun and he didn't even care that he's "making out" with a chubby ch_ick in public, with an audience watching. *waves to the folks at the other end of the bar on the way out!* How HOT is that? Ok, wait, wrong website! We went different ways after dinner - didn't give it up so to speak but goodness, it was hard not to!!
He wanted to see me again the next night. When we're talking it's like looking in a mirror at our situations. There are many similarities. He asked if I was trying to find something WRONG with him. I had to answer honestly, and the answer was yes. Why is that? Do we all not deserve to be happy? Have I been so hurt by others that I doubt true, honest intentions?
I made a comment about picking up my dog from my parents house and he was ready to go with me to get him right then. Um, hello?! I've known u a minute, you are NOT going to my parents house. Is that a good thing that he wants to?
Don't get me wrong. This man is awesome and I'm thinking I could be really lucky! Sometimes it's just hard to sit back, relax and go where it may! He's asked to see me again tonight (3rd night in a row!). He wants to come hang out with my girlfriends and I since I already had plans with them. Wow.. a man that WANTS to hang with my girlfriends and .... says hello beautiful when he calls?! *swoons* LOL!
Time will only tell what will unfold...until then, let the good times ROLL! :)
He does not have a brother! :( If he did, I think I'd be selfish and keep him on reservce in case Brian starts to act stupid. LOL .. just kidding!
A whirlwind of emotion just keeps me spinning a mile a minute! We discovered last night we have the same favorite ice cream flavor - peppermint stick. How bizarre is that?! :-) I am blessed and I'm blessed and I pray for all to find this same happiness! :-)
I'm new to this site...just joined today as a matter of fact, but still wanted to reply. Kerri, you go girl! Congrats on finding your prince charming. If he has a brother or friend, send him to Georgia, LOL! Hope everything works out!
Things are great after a few weeks! He's met most of my friends and they love him. He joined the family last night for a birthday dinner for my mom and a poker party at the house for a combo of his friends and mine.... it was fabulous. I'm a lucky girl!! I agree that it is still to be approached with some caution, but if we guard ourselves too much, we can't let in what is really good..and it might be scared off with our inability to be vulnerable... :)
*takes off running shoes, puts them in the closet and waits for Brian to get back from work*
I usually go with the saying, if it looks too good to be true, it usually is! I dont want to be a buzzkill but be careful. I have dated men like that and there is usually some kind of skeleton in the closet. I hope this isnt the case for you!!! It is possible that this could be real. Just keep your female instincts alert!
Well... I've seen him 6 of the last 7 days. LOL !! and.. he hasn't disappeared after . :-) Oh... and he has GREAT assets if you know what I mean and he knows what to do with them!!! LMAO He's easy to talk to, it's like I've known forever. This one, at this point is a KEEPER, ladies!!!!!
He even cleaned MY house yesterday! lol ... hands off, he's mine!
*gets out that check list Rockchic gave me.... marks them off*
This is great. I absolutely agree with all of the above. The same thing has happened to me recently and sometimes I have to pinch myself - he actually wanted/still wants to be with me; how cool is that?
It's difficult at times to fathom the hurt that the past has created but I am open to new possibilities for who knows I may let the wrong one get away.
