OMG! I love Elvis soo much. I was raised on Elvis. I'm originally from Memphis and My Aunts went to school with him and before he became a star, lived in the same neighborhood growing up. My Mom has stories about him as a teenager and she was pre-teen and she had the biggest crush on him before stardom so as his career went on she kept up with it and liked the music too of course so my brothers, sister and I were use to hearing his music. I think he had such beautiful facial features. A very handsome and even sexy man.
i love elvis. i know just about all his songs. he came to the astrodome in houston in 1968 for the rodeo when i was a little girl and me and my sisters went to see him. i swore he waved back at me when i waved at him. a 10 year old girls imagination i guess. but i can hope can't i. lol i think elvis could sing any type of song well and he was soooooo beautiful to look at too.
I didn't hear much of Elvis music around our house whe I was a kid. I guess I'm going to have to start listening to him on my own before I can form an opinion.
Great hols thanks. Too many cream teas, but it would have been rude to refuse!
Early days for me & new man, but I have a very good feeling.......
I'm sure your Mr Right is just around the corner, but meanwhile Mssrs Jackman, Rickman & Clooney are on their way over to amuse you while you're waiting. Enjoy!!
To keep with the thread & avoid having my leg slapped .....
My fave Elvis song is also Suspicious Minds, we have great taste Aphrodite!
Although my daughter has played her Gareth Gates video so many times, the song is beginning to grate a little..lol
Thank you for missing me, I'm touched.
I had a week in Devon with the kids, then, what with back to school & everything, it's been a bit of a whirlwind couple of weeks.
And....umm....I've met someone *grins like the Cheshire cat*
