I mean really, How can you possibly love me when you don't even know me?

Ok guys, clue me in, is it meant as a joke, icebreaker? or what?

And why don't they have an "I'm not interested, but thanks" wink?

Just curious...any thoughts?

If they truly want to say is:
"I love you, but not enough to poney up a few dollars and join......"

You should have been here in the old days. The winks were really limited. And they didn't have such a thing as reply winks. Thank goodness for the technology we have today.

they'd have to do some improvements on this to get me to pay for it, like add some winks stating...sorry, not interested, or something to that effect, also, start up chat rooms, and improve the instant messenger quite a bit.

I do feel, that if someone isnt paying...so they can only wink, and not e mail...That its a bit cheap?
I mean the winks are a bit awful?

I agree totally, I guess the trick is to actually meet someone that is honest, and doesn't think of this all a game...it's basically like looking for a needle in a hay stack...which I'm finding out is a bit easier to do,lol. To me the big annoying part, isn't the winks, but someone who evidently doesn't actually read your profile, and take it seriously...like being winked or emailed by someone married, when there is nothing about looking for a married man on your profile...I think some men lack any intelligence, lol.

Some of those I Love You winks are disturbing. I don't usually respond to them. I think another icebreaker would be sufficient. Something a little tamer.

OK so the general concensus is it's an "icebreaker".. and meant as a funny way to get to know someone? All right then, I won't get my hopes up...(sigh)

LOL

I guess I need to lighten up, LOL

It's kind of a shame winks are so limited, but I think they want to force you into getting an account. It's a shame too, makes it really hard to make friends if you can't even email or instant message eachother.

It's not that difficult to chat with someone. If you are persistant enough. Sometimes you may come across a clue.

I honestly think the "I Love You!" wink is just a way to break the ice in a humorous way. I truly hope no one takes it seriously! :-)

Hahahahahaha

I just got the "I Love You" wink from someone.

Call it a gut feeling but I reckon people that send that wink are having a laugh...

Take Care

Of the 24 winks I've gotten, about 5 were the "I Love You" Comment...I'm sure some were meant as a over exaggerated "I want to get to know you"...but geez...the selection of winks to chose from are streamlined. It's not like there is a whole lot of variety to choose from. I've already emailed the host explaining that their needs to be some kind of "Polite Rejection" to unwanted advances. I mean if you are not particularly interested in someone it's at least polite to let them know. Not leave them hanging with no response. That's just uncouth...or maybe that's just me?
