Hmmmm, thinking of food while Im eating breakfast.....actually my favorite meal is a quick and easy one. Sauteed mushrooms, onions and stew meat then mixed with a nice broccoli and cheese rice pack, cooked and ready to eat in like 15 minutes and of course desert.....any type of ice cream for me or strawberries and whipped cream....yummy
What's my favorite meal? A sexy, willing man and some chocolate sauce(lol)! I love seafood, but my recent fav is sushi(and no, not all sushi is raw fish-everything I eat is either raw veggies and/or cooked sushi rolls).
my all time favorite has to be homade coconut cream pie, however I've never found any that tastes like my Mom's... Anymore, my favorite meal has to be Crawfish Etoufee, pasta House Salad, hard rolls with real butter. yeah, I'm gonna die of clogged arteries, I just hope my mouth is full when it happens!!!!!
ok I would have to say Itallian, my starter would be Asparagus En Cartucho, which is asparagus in a bashamel sauce topped with prochuto ham and mozzerella cheese baked till golden brown, main is eggplant malenzanna, deep fried eggplant topped with mozzerella chesse and a rosatta sauce "even parts alfredo and marinara" and again baked, dessert Santa Lucia, ameretto cake w/ fresh strawberries topped with a saviogne, over that chocolate sauce drizzled and chocolate shavings!!!! OMG my heart just stopped. PS please forgive the spelling
scoot - Here in Chicago suburbs they changed around the #'s on MickeyD's menu
jackmcmadd - oooo that sounds good. Now I have to go buy a blender. I was just LOOKING for an excuse to get one! Better yet, I'll ask for one for my birthday! Yummy! Maybe some lemon in there too! Love extra lemon on the artichokes!!!!!
GORDON - - I'll say you like Jamaican food - - have you had the rice and peas cooked in coconut milk? That dish is usually served up on Sundays. Some of the best food I ever had was while I was on vacation in Jamaica. YA MON !
I love Chinese buffets! Then I can have a bite of everything to see what it tastes like! (giggle) The local Chinese place even has crab legs which I also like.
Since I grew up by the sea, I'm used to eating lots of seafood, although lately I don't eat much fried stuff. I'm really not into oysters, but all the other seafood I really enjoy. I'm a pretty good cook, but when you eat out you don't have to clean the kitchen afterwards! (grin)
I don't eat too much red meat, even though I live on a beef cattle farm. I make a fantastic meatloaf, but other than the occasional steak, I'm not much of a meat eater.
Oh, and I'm probably the only one in the entire world who does NOT like chocolate! (giggle) Plus, any sweet stuff I enjoy is usually the stuff I can make at home.
I don't eat pork most of the time. My piggies give me sad looks if I do! And piggies are just the cutest things to love on, especially my sweetie piggie-pets! Since I do like ham as a lunchmeat, I always buy the turkey ham or I feel too guilty! (giggle) Speaking of turkey, another lunchmeat favorite, I just discovered sun-dried tomato turkey! Put on a fresh roll with fresh-grown tomato slices, that turkey and turkey ham make a wonderful lunch sandwich!
nothing better than a pair of nice firm puds on a sunday afternoon.. Heaven.
How could you!! garlic salt and plastic Parmasean. Hasve you got a blender? strip a couple of garlic bulbs of their skins, but them in a blender or magi-mix, add some olive oil and blitz until a smooth paste, store it in the fridge in a clean jar witha lid (jam jar will do) When you need it drizzle the paste over the chokes or whatever your making. Far better than garlic salt.
