Hello Everyone...

Just thought I would start something new....

What did you have for dinner tonight?

I made a chicken and rice casarole with fresh baby pea's on the side.

How about any of you? If something sounds good... we can get some recipe swapping going???

tonight is grill night! marinated steak strips, corn on the cob (grilled), potatoes, onions and garlic (make a tin foil packet throw them in with some olive oil throw them on the grill). summer squash. For dessert is grilled pinapple slices coated in honey. a few cold beers and we are good to go.

More importantly friends are coming over to help chow this down, and if anybody else would like to stop by more the merrier.

SOUTHERN - - I will cook you a southern meal that will knock your socks off. How about this on Sunday:

Baked ham; "home-made" macaroni & cheese; rice; collard greens; corn casserole and some sweet tea

I am definitely cooking that on Sunday - so whomever would like to pop on by - - see you then......OMG - - I'm hungry now!

OOOH! All you people have such yummy food! I made the kids Vermicelli with Tomato Pesto( from a jar, sadly) and a side salad with Iceberg lettuce and cherry tomatoes and Ranch dressing. Kinda boring but at least they ate it, LOL.
