Hey linden, it's not a myth; there are things out there that seem to affect folks of a certain heritage... sickle-cell anemia is something that tends to only affect blacks, I think it's Tay-Sachs that only affects Jewish people, etc. There are also racial differences in muscle structure (just do a web search.) That's been scientifically proven. So, no, "race" isn't a "myth."
Having said that, there are a lot of folks out there who are turned on by the contrasts in skin color.
And there are those who have been mistreated by folks of their own race, and found the opposite gender of another race to be more loving and accepting towards them.
For the record, both reasons above apply to me.

Sickle cell does not just affect blacks. It's more prominent in our race because it's a genetic disorder but the disease has no racial boundaries.
I must say the question isn't is any woman into black men, it is the other way around. I have notice that most man can't decide what they want. They can have a diamond in front of them but instead they out looking for rhinestone. So men you must decide what you want. When you figure that out please let us know. I am a black female and sure would love to be with a black man who knows what he wants. Holla back if you know what you want.

Oh my dear you are so wrong. You need to look at more profiles...mine would be a great start hee hee! Its just what I prefer(black men), its just part of who I am. But what is most important is that he should be of good morals and values and kind and respectful. Definitely no lies. Fun loving and caring. The good looking black man part is just the bonus.
I personally don't really think that it is an issue of race. I believe that a woman can love any man that hits the spark in their desire, be it money,cars,career, or just plain sexual desire, also true with a man. I see women everyday that sparks a fire for a desire in some way. My desire is to have a nice,intelligent,down to earth woman that I enjoy being with alone,public, or any given situation. Hmm.,just wish I could have one with me to bring out this spark of desire I have just to give all of this deep love to. Looking in Orlando, Fla. for one now

Likenoneother, I think you're right as far as the way blk women and asian men are stereotyped. But I do have to give blk women great admiration because for the most part, I have known them to raise polite, well mannered children, especially boys. Oh and BTW, have you tested the asian male theory??? just curious lol
Well hello all, i am very much interested in black men but open to meeting men of other cultures/races as well. I must agree with one post, black women do get a bad reputation as having attitudes constantly. And that is just not true. Some folks have been quite misinformed by the Maury show and the ricki lake shows and the jerry springer shows. Those shows are not good representation of how all black women are. Even now hollywood has gotten in to casting blackwomen for roles that seem to be sistagurl-ish, nasty attitude having type things. And i just think that it is an unfair stereotype. just my 2 cents.
