Hi guys, could not resist talking about the fat thing.
I lost 85 pounds and my husband divorced me after 8 yrs of marriage. The funny part about the divorce is that he moved next door to me (oi vey)!
Well....the judge will understand why I killed him, since he moved next door after being divorced almost a year!
Of course, I have started gaining the weight back and am now fighting the battle of the brave.
I too agree with the caffiene comment, I have given it up and feel less nervous and less emotional.
My blood pressure has gone down considerably...(after going sky high from ex moving so close).
I have recently given up sugar, but am trying to not have a "diet mind", as that always screws me up in the end.

I enjoy my visits to curves. You can join for a year and pay a $100 membership fee plus the first month. If you want you can pay $29 per month for a year's committment or pay $39 for a month to month membership. I feel it was the best decision I have made in regards to my health. The people @ the sites are supportive and nice. They make sure you use the equipment the right way. The machines are not difficult to use. They have a diet if you want to go on one. You only need to work out for 30 minutes 3x per week. I feel it is worthile to go into a center and ask if they have any discounts. You can also try it out to see if you like it before joining.
Hi everyone, I'm pretty new but I wanted to reply to this post.
I've been trying to walk more and eat more healthy. I don't expect to lose a bunch of weight, all I really want is too lose some belly fat. I've also been lifting weights.
I've only been doing this for a short time and I've cheated this weekend, but not too bad.
I've cut pop out completely and I'm attempting to cut out meat. I don't really eat it much anyway so it hasn't been too hard. I'm trying to keep fruit and veggies around so when I need to snack at least it isn't on chips or cookies.

I have lost 20lbs and 17 inches in 3 months. I still have a long way to go. I have been talking with others, praying and adding activities to my life that I enjoy besides eating. I believe it is a mind set. You need to want to change in order to do so. Change involves learning new habits that can benifit you. I feel you also have to set your goals and then evalauate them to see if they are working for you. You may have set backs but then you refocus and start again. Gee I usually don't say much but this is something I feel strongly about.
Hi everyone-I have shed 45 pounds in 5 weeks.No sugar,salt,bread,or starches.Low carbohydrates and oatmeal for breakfast every morning.No red meat .Only chicken and fish.6 ounces a day.Lots of fruits and vegetables.I am walking a lot more only It makes me spend more money cause I go shopping!LOL!Wish I had someone to share a walk with though.Thats one of the resons I started to diet.To improve not only my health but my appearance as well.I have several profiles and no one has ever said hello.I really think people are still looking at you from the outside and not from within.The majority of people are still obsessed with looks.Anyway sorry to bore you guys.Good luck to all who choose to "Diet".Have determination and may the force be with you!!
I would like to join this support group. I myself, stop eating red meat, and sugar(oh, how I miss my sugar) I have a bad sweet tooth. I walk 4 miles from work everyday except when its raining. Then it's about 2 miles total. 1 mile from work to the train station and 1 mile from the train station home. Hey just a hint I walk to the beat of the Black Eye Peas CD. Talk about a fat burner
I'd love to have someone to talk to about food n losing weight.(or even to not talk about food too) Dont want to be slim but it would be nice if there wasnt so much of me. I just wanna be healthy. Get in touch if ya want. i'm sure we'll get on, i get on with everyone. xx

I agree with not getting "Skinny" I still want my curves. I know I look good with those babies!
I don't like to think of what I'm doing as dieting, but more of a "change of eating" habit. The only things I drink is water. And I stay far away from sugar. (That's tough!)
As for my work out, I stretch my muscles to the tune of 1 song, and I walk the block once or twice a day.
I'm losing weight, though, not as fast as I would like, but I feel better about myself.
Hey I'm with you. I KNOW I'm not going to get "thin" either, but I'd like to shed a few pounds, and feel better about myself. I've already eliminated chocolate, sugars, and the like from my diet. And soda. I drink flavored water (no sugar, carbs, sodium)and milk. I walk. Not regulary, but the days I have school, I do a bit of walking. So... we'll see. :)
