I'm 43 and proud of it! I have more self confidence now than I ever had in my 20's or 30's. Some might say that I am aging like fine wine!

I've just joined the site today and am very glad to see a 40's something message board. I look forward to stopping by and getting pointers on how to best use this site.

I was going to give the advice "move some place where it's not so hot", but after one of our snowier winters up here, I'm ready to head south myself!

I guess that wasn't the kind of advice you were looking for ;)

I turn 46 this year and my kids are just about old enough to be left alone for the odd evening. So that means more time for me

Yeehah!

I am 42 and proud of it! I wouldn't go back to my 20's or 30's for anything. I have worked hard to get where I am at 42 and, frankly, I am quite happy at this place in my life. I feel sexier now than I ever did when I was younger. I guess the saying that you get better with age is really true!

I'm 46 and somedays I remember being twenty and I'm glad I'm headed into another direction. I'm fabulous in my forty's. Can't wait to see what the future holds.

Isn't 40 supposed to be the new 20? I like my 40's better than my 20's in a lot of ways. Maybe it's a chance to do that "if I knew then what I know now" thing lol

I'm 45 and better at most things than when I was 20. I have more confidence in myself and am less wary of risks. The best time in my life!! D.

That's 'cause we is OLD!!! LOL!! Just kidding!! I love being in my forties and would not go back to my twenties if you paid me. I wouldn't want to revisit many of my experiences of the past. And yes, many of them were painful, but as the saying goes, what does not kill us, makes us stronger!! So emotionally, I can press a 50-ton truck, now.

So I say, bring on the Metamucil, Geritol and prune juice--the elixirs of the Golden Age!!
