Yeah true my god 150?? Wow wee that could lead into another topic all together.. About how sad it is what popular society thinks is the right weight.. My god I wouldn't want to drop below 180.. I like the fuller figure look.. I guess the in thing is the twiggy still LoL..
I actually had a guy e-mail me from this website and inform me of the actual weight cut-offs. I was offended and asked what made him the expert. I've been told a bbw is someone that weighs over 150. Well, I don't consider that large at all. I've also been told I'm not big enough. So I think it all depends on how someone perceives you individually.
yeah that's true I think.. I have had people tell me.. I don't look like what I weigh.. So I guess allot dose have to do with proportion and body shape..
Ok, I'm not a woman obviously but I agree that it's the way the person carries the weight. That's been my opinion anyway. I'm near 300 lbs. but according to most people I don't look near that. Of course I'm 6'1" and have a big build naturally so maybe I carry the weight in a way that I don't seem as heavy as someone a few inches shorter and has a more slender build.
In short, I think everyone has their own idea of what defines each and it's not necessarily going to be criteria others will agree with.
I would imagine it has to do with how you look as well. The way one is proportioned over the body. If you tend to have you weight more evenly distributed, it will show your weight differently. Just a thought
Well pinkpenguins;
different people will give you conflicting answers. Some go by weight ans some dress size. there actually has been quite a few topics in the forums about this but you would have to go and look back in the oldest ones in say July of 05 thru Nov 05 I put my 2 cents in 2or 3 of them in that time period. But general consensus is over size 26 dress or over 300 lbs is an ssbbw. which is what I am. hope that answers the question.
