I think age is a number...alot has to do with the guy. I feel pretty young at 48...yet I know some guys that are 60 and still havent grown up!

Hi everyone-i am chris. I am 22 from outside of chicago. I just wanted to ask men my age if they are finding it difficult to find older women to seriouslt date? i am not talking about just sexxxx, but something serious. In my experience, i cant imagine a time in which i was rejected more. It is nothing i do or say, it is just the fact that i am 22. I have had women tell me that "u r very sweet and good looking, but i am afraid u r too young?" how do they know that? i pose this question to older women? i know that most men my age do fit the description of what u think they will, but what about those of us who r mature and who r financially stable, and ready for love? i welcome all opinions.

I don't know I don't think it's all that hard. I get winks from older women all the time. Of course I'm not really looking for a woman who's too much older than myself, but if I were the opportunity seems to be their. Maybe you need to revamp your profile to show a bit more mature side of yourself and what your seek.

***NOTE*** I haven't looked at your profile I'm just giving you my opinion of what you should do ... just had to put that out there since I didn't want you to think I was ripping you or anything since I'm not that kind of a guy.

Best of luck,
Rodney aka bbanditx79

I'm dating a guy who is younger than me...but only by 4 years. I would encourage women to try a younger man. Younger guys try harder in all aspects and are better in the sack!

Not all of them are immature!

because i have a bit more of an older soul, i dont enjoy doing a lot of the things most women my own age do (not a big drinker, and dont party every night). there r also other reasons, but i dont want to be too specific about them (lets just say older women attract me more).

Chris personally it never really occured to me to "date" a younger man. But I would agree with what the others have said. However I would add if you show paitence and are persistent you may win in the end. Just be careful not to look like a stalker while doing it. Good Luck. I am just wondering why older women?

Well, let me put it this way then, about the experiences. The comparison is you're 32 considering dating a 16 year old girl. Granted , in this scenerio you'd be put in jail, but, the point is, the maturity, not necessarily "the experiences" comes with how you've grown emotionally. These are things you can't read in a book.

How much older woman are you interested in? That makes a difference. I can see a woman in her 30's considering dating someone your age, but older than that... it's hard to imagine... not impossible, but hard.

I think as we get older, we start reflecting down the road more.

For instance if you were interested in a woman in her mid 40's... say 45. Right now it might be exciting and wonderful, but what about in 15 years... would you still be as excited about being with a 60 yr. old woman when you are only 37?

What about having children... most older women are past that point in their lives and have no desire to raise more children... you need to have that experience if that's your desire.

Anyway... I wish you much luck! I'm a true believer that if you are patient... what you want will eventually happen... and I pray if it does... that it is a good thing for you!

u see, but who says i dont have a lot of the experiences u speak of? it is my point exactly-it is like somebody who says "u were not alive with the titanic sank," yet i know more about the titanic then anybody on earth. just is perplexing. thank u for your opinion.

It's not impossible, keep looking. I don't know what age you are interested in, but even though I'd like to say "age is just a number", you're too young for me. The reason is that I know that alot of maturing and life experiences happen in your 20s and 30s. Its nice to date someone who is in the same place in life and can relate to my younger years. There are many examples of this. One would be, he remembers life before vcrs, computers, and cell phones existed. I think we all seek a mature relationship, Good luck to you!
