Oh and that SCHNAPI song ... does anyone know which one I am talking about ... ?? the peeps in australia might, its clip is of a cartoon aligator looking for where it belongs or something ... and it sounds like a 5 year old is singing it ... its a stoopid song lol
Treasure I had NO CLUE that song was written for that movie .... that makes it worse !! Some how I dont think the brides at the time had either seen or remembered that song in the movie ... too funny.
I thought of another really bad song that "I dont know much, but I know I love you" by Aaron Neville and I think Linda Ronsdadt ??
Treasure I have to agree with the Celine Dione thing .... cant stand that song, and I can see there are some "lady in reds" here too .... cant agree more, and "shuddupaya face" dont know how any of that crap can make the charts even !!
Bruce Springsteen is definately up there ... and how can he be described as "The Boss" yeah the boss of the LAMEST songs around ... lol
Agadoo - push pineapples shake a tree , man thats a BAD one.
OH and that "I WILL ALWAYS LOVE YOU" when Whitney sung it, that song became SO popular amongst people getting married, to be used as their Wedding song ... didnt they listen to the lyrics and realise it was a bout 2 people who were never meant to be together, whats one of the versus....?? something like "we both know I'm not what you need" or something like that ....
Rainnestorm write: OMG I absolutely hate- The Reason by Hoobastank (?) everyone i know loves it. it makes me want to pull my hair out.
That had to have been the most overplayed P.O.S. in the history of bad music...
Other stuff I don't like...
Anything by Whitney/Mariah/Shania or anything from anyone having to do with American Idol or anything catered to dumbed down teenagers as the latest pop fad because they don't have to capacity currently to decide what REAL music is about because of all the mind garbage fed to them via the idiot box.
Oh, and I don't care for Creed or anything from Dirty Dancing or Top Gun either.
Hello Northern Star..... I'm pleased you agree with me.
But......I do have to speak up in defence of Right Said Fred, they're such fun!!
And I always did have a weakness for sexy bald men *smiles*
Jack.... I see your point! St Winifred's School Choir (not that far from me) and Orville.. eeew!
As For Ernie... nice. I think it turned into a Bunfight at the OK Corral
My votes? APART from agreeing with Jack, I'd say:
Agadoo - Black Lace
Long Haired Lover from Liverpool - Little Jimmy Osmond
You're Still The One by Shania Twain
Don't Worry, Be happy - Bobby McFerrin
Lady in Red - Chris De Burgh
I'm Too Sexy - Right Said Fred

There are so many, I think this should have been a 'Bottom 10', but if I had to choose, it would be 'comedy' or 'novelty' songs, or anything involving children!!
Peeps in the US may not get this, but all I have to say is....There's no-one quite like grandma....The Birdie Song....I wish I could Fly, way up to the Sky.... BANG!!! Shoot that bloody awful green duck!
Sorry...got carried away for a moment.
I will make an exception for Ernie, the Fastest Milkman in the West, as this is a classic.
Aphrodite, I just posted on the Elvis thread that we have great taste...but you don't like Donny? WHAT??? You'll be having a go at David Cassidy next!...lol
