For me Drakkar, only one I've ever liked, I also like one of the Axe sprays too, can't think of the name right now though but it smells a little like cut grass to me, weird.
On a woman I like Poison and Opium, there are others I like but don't know the names (I tend to remember what the bottles & symbols look like, guy thing ?). Mainly I just like it light, where you have to be close to smell it, I don't like when you can still smell someone before/after they leave the room.
My favorite was a knock-off or so I'm told called So Sleek. I know, it's a dumb name, but I loved it and I can't find it anymore. SOB! It was both citrusy and floral (I think) I hate musk.
Mostly I just like to smell like Ivory soap.
I don't really like colonge on men. That just showered smell is best. Besides perfume hides the natural scent.
Hi y'all
Although I wear Paco Robane myself, I think the greatest scent on a woman is that freshly showered & just washed hair smell, maybe with a hint of baby oil, beats expensive perfumes to hell.
just my 2 cents worth
Hmm..aside from the usual conditioner, Irish Spring and Right Guard, my faves are:
1. Jessica McClintock
2. Michael by Michael Koor
3. Cashmere by Donna Karan
4. Anything by Burberry and Estee Lauder, and Versace
As for cheapie: Loves Babysoft (sooo high school, but it's still smells good) and White Musk fragrances.
I enjoy wearing soft lingering scents of any kind...but I suppose a favorite for day is called Ici....it smells sort of candyish...
For evening White Diamonds...by Elizabeth Taylor....
or the older scent..."white shoulders"...it smells like gardenias...so nice...
For a gentleman...anything light...not brash...fresh.....like fresh soap....
On me, White Linen by Estee Lauder. Been my favourite "classy" scent since I was a kid. I very seldom wear anything though because so many people are allergic to things these days. For a little pick-me-up, I like the GingerLily scents.
On him, Blue Stratos - can't buy it anymore, though. Found it on some websites out of Britain, but I don't want to even think about what the shipping costs would be.
If anybody knows where I can get Blue Stratos in Canada or even Washington State, I'd sure appreciate knowing.
I wear Aromatics Elixir by Clinque. It's hard to describe but I've been wearing it for more than a decade and people often tell me I smell really good! I know, I'm stuck in a fragrance rut -- but if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
On men I like almost anything as long as it's applied with a light touch ... but my all-time favourite is shaving cream ... men smell so good right after they've shaved!
