I have so many favorite movies:

When I want a good "chick" flick, I love watching Sense and Sensibility

When I want a good action movie that also has a good mystery, I love Brotherhood of the Wolf

When I want a good scary/funny movie I love the Evil Dead movies.

I also love the original Friday the 13th and Halloween. Always good standards.

A good comedy I like is Drop Dead Gorgeous and Kung Fu Hustle (very funny foreign movie).

Those are a few of my favs...

Hi Everyone! My all time favorite is Rocky Horror Picture Show, it's because of the message - Don't dream it - BE it! I also love Nightbreed, Dogma, The Princess Bride, Kill Bill 1&2, Twister and most sci-fi/fantasy films.

Take care out there, Melodia

I love the x-men movies and leathal weapon. Fights just make it more fun, throw in a car chase and an explosion and I will see that. Keep those mushy love stories away from me.

I love all kinds of movies but I tend to be drawn to what most people consider weird movies. I think of them more as movies with a message or that haunt you when they're over. Here's a small sample:

United States of Leland

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind

Crash

The Virgin Suicides

Nightmare Before Christmas

The Wall

Fight Club

Rolling Kansas

What Dreams May Come

I have too many to name just one, unless you pick one from each genre.
Classic: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers
Family: The Goonies
"Chick-Flick": The Wedding Date
Animated: The Little Mermaid
Drama: Dirty Dancing
Comedy: Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me
Cult Classic: Girls Just Want to have Fun
Horror: Saw (Absolutely Brillant!!!)
Suspense: Primal Fear
Action: The Mummy Returns
I think that about covers it.

Hairspray was way cool. I live in Baltimore, where director John Waters lives, so I love all his films, even the very very strange early ones(not that the more recent ones aren't a bit strange, too)
