I loved Amelie!

My friends and I kid around, and they call me Amelie. that's how much I loved that character....

I like the Last Emperor film as well.

I also thought that 'Love Actually' and 'Notting Hill' were good as I could relate to them, me being British.

However if I had to choose just one film which is an emotional story, where the choreography and attention for detail is splendid. Then it would have to be Debbie does Dallas. Followed closely by the Adventures of Ben Dover.

At last someones mentioned Tarantino the master.

Kelly's Heroes, Bridge over the River Kwai, The Great Escape, Cool Hand Luke, Paint Your Wagon, Debbie Does Dallas, Mad Max, Road Warrior, Blues Brothers, Catch 22, Midnight in the Garden of Eden, Dirty Dozen, Guns of Navarone, The Rookie, Pirates of the Caribbean, The Lost Boys, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, Lonesome Dove (the movie, not the girl but only because I don't know her), What's eating Gilbert Grape, Road House, HOWARD THE DUCK-YES, I'M THE ONE, Biloxi Blues.

I just loved Serenity when it came out

Just happened on this site, Last Tango in Paris is my favorite film since I first saw it in 1973. Shadowlands, about CS Lewis with Anthony Hopkins and Debra Winger is a 9 hankie stunning film too. An early Richard Gere film, he costars with Tony Shaloubs wife, it is called Days of Heaven;Excellent! I find myself enjoying soooo many other films, it is such a flexible format. One can often see what the film maker WANTED to do but somehow couldn't. With taste that runs from A to Z (excluding pure garbage like Left Behind, Saw I,II and on,Smokey and the Bandit and anything with Paully Shore) I was enthralled by the recent Moulin Rouge and Shawshank Redemption was perfect revenge. So many films, how can one pick just one?

You know, I'm a big-time movie freak, just love 'em, so this is hard. I could never pick just one. But I can pick some of my favs...

I would have to say any type of Horror type movie like Underworld or Saw! I love mystery/horror type movies. Comedies are great too but I love a good horror/mystery!

My favorite still is "Real Genius" by Val Kilmer. I went to one of those super intense academic prep schools and can totally relate. I love the scene where the guy freaks out when they are all studying in the library.

I also love Dogma and Clerks.... the sarcasm is too funny!
