Hi Everyone! My all time favorite is Rocky Horror Picture Show, it's because of the message - Don't dream it - BE it! I also love Nightbreed, Dogma, The Princess Bride, Kill Bill 1&2, Twister and most sci-fi/fantasy films.
I love the x-men movies and leathal weapon. Fights just make it more fun, throw in a car chase and an explosion and I will see that. Keep those mushy love stories away from me.
It'a a Wonderful Life, Shawshank Redemption, To Kill a Mockingbird, Beautiful Girls,Goonies, Labrynth, Love Actually, Lethal Weapon series, Forrest Gump, The Breakfast Club, Waiting.... ok, I'll shut up now.
any John Wayne movie
Pretty Woman
Alien vs Predator
Dirty Dancing
Ghost
The Day The Earth Stood Still
The King and I w/ Yule Brynner and Deb rah Kerr
The Rear Window
My Big Fat Greek Wedding
and too many more to name the one the w/ Tom Hanks was Castaway
I love all kinds of movies but I tend to be drawn to what most people consider weird movies. I think of them more as movies with a message or that haunt you when they're over. Here's a small sample:
next dvd to add to fav list , saw it over the weekend :)
"City of God"
Two boys growing up in a violent neighborhood of Rio de Janeiro take different paths: one becomes a photographer, the other a drug dealer
sex, drugs and violence...what more can you ask for honestly?
Dirty Dozen, Face Off, Air Force 1, Big Jake, Shawshank Redemption, Green Mile, Colour Purple, Bugsy Malone, all films with Denzel Washington, Ghost, Kelly's Heroes. to name but a few. Hate all horror films - gives me nightmares-hate fantasy films like star wars etc - cant understand them.
For me
Romance-The Note Book
Foreign- I have 2 Black Cat White Cat and Bebbettes Feast
Comedy- Four Rooms and The Party
Horror- WRONG TURN scares the crap out of me.
Si FI- Hell Boy
BB Jeanie
I have too many to name just one, unless you pick one from each genre.
Classic: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers

Hairspray was way cool. I live in Baltimore, where director John Waters lives, so I love all his films, even the very very strange early ones(not that the more recent ones aren't a bit strange, too)
Can't pick just 1. A few of my faves are the Wizard of Oz, To Kill a Mockingbird, Labrynth (love David Bowie in any form), A Streetcar Named Desire and anything Hitchcock.
