My husband just had a minor stroke and I am a basket case! I cannot get over the fear of losing him and he is in DENIAL although he is doing everything the dr told him to do. I am driving myself and him nuts worrying about him. Any ideas on how to get back to a normal life after one's spouse has such a serious medical crisis?

I'm the one who had 2 mild strokes. I thought my husband thought same as you.But 1 yr after 1st stroke he skipped town because he couldn't handle change in lifestyle. Good for you to care for your husband. He is so lucky to have you. Just give him lots of love and let him know you will always be there for him. That will be the best medicine for him and his full recovery.
