Well said chuffy! It does take more to keep us down thatn that.
Things are back to normal, i hear some arrests have been made but i need to catch the news again to see if they have kept the people or set them free!
I live in suffolk, 1 hour from london, a few people from this area are still missing. I also kow some1 who was injured, thankfully she is going to be fine.
Time to stop this rubbish and just live! Our time here is to short to always be bitter and fighting
Thank you to everyone in the US for their kind words. One of my clients operated the No 30 bus that blew up.
As many of you may know the driver survived, sadly many didnt....
They have announced tonight that they think it was 4 suicide bombers after all. No cause can ever justify this outrage.I cannot pity them for following their beliefs to the end. They are pure evil.
I knew this kind of thing would happen sooner or later. Unfortunately many innocent people were killed and hurt. I lived in the Suffolk county (70 miles north of london)in england for the past 8 years and i went into london all the time. The attack was not just on England but the whole world because that city is so diverse and with all the tourist that frequent the city from all over the world. My prayers are with the families of the victims. God bless and protect us all.
Loving God,
Welcome into your arms the victims of violence and terrorism.
Comfort their families and all who grieve for them.
Help us in our fear and uncertainty,
And bless us with the knowledge that we are secure in your love.
Strengthen all those who work for peace,
And may the peace the world cannot give reign in our hearts.
To the people of London, you have in you the resolve of your parents and grandparents who survived the Battle of Britain. Our country fought back after Pearl Harbor and 9/11 and you will also prevail. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers as you struggle to come to terms with the attacks on your own soil and learn to function in this new world where safety can't be taken for granted. God Bless.
Hi All
Just thought i'd post as a Brit. Life is pretty much back to normal here!! Takes more than that to keep us down! It actually makes me wanna go out just to show those b*s*ards that they can't scare us. So many nations have stood together against this and i think that we will all continue to do so!
My sympathies to go out to those who lost anyone in the attacks.
Yep I definately feel for all who have been affected by this callous and CHICKEN SH*T act ....
The worlds gone crazy .... I think its stoopid how Osama Bin laden was sort after back when 911 happened... then all of a sudden Saddam Hussein was hunted leaving Bin laden to lye low... and now look whats happened !! altho there are so many net works of Al Qeida all over the world, makes me wonder whether we are next , or whether the bali bombings were enuff where 88 Australians died ..... its just sh*t I cant fathom
The terrorists didn't get the response they were hoping for - The US markets ended up, Londoners went about their day as best they could. While this was a horrible attack, it did not disrupt the G8 meeting nor did the world stop. Oil futures even ended higher.
