I was just wondering how you ladies feel about wearing tight clothes when you go out for social reasons. I always hear people say that big girls should wear "big girl" clothing, but I LOVE to see a big girl in something tight.

i find it depends what they are wearing tbh.
i work in a well known ladies clothes shop, as i am on the plus size myself i see ladies come in or when out and about wearing something in my eyes they shouldnt be.
sometimes i find trying to get sexy clothes very hard.
plus size clothing tends to be i think something your granny would wear. :(
to me there is nothing worse than seeing women with lumps and bumps hanging out and even worse to me strech marks.
it is possible to dress sexy, just make sure you try and do it in the right way.

I like corsets... I think they are sexy and I feel sexy in them. Its odd because I dont like tight shirts. :-) I guess its just something about them that brings that wild or naughty out of you.

The person should feel comfortable in the cloths she wears. However, she should remember that those of us who like BBW's will appreciate the tight clothes and the rest of the public doesn't matter. Remember, we are turned on by your large and delicious body parts and extra curves.
My Ex. and latter favorite girlfriends, would wear tighter clothes to highlight their better parts. I really loved it when we got away from the public and they would pull their clothes up and around to let their bulges hang out for me to feast on. Love a belly bulging or hanging out over jeans or shorts with a bra less tight tank top.

Yeah! Excessively obese people in tight leather is soo sexy that even if I'm a guy I do it myself. My girlfrien Julian is so awesome when she wears her leather bra, it can barely contain her breasts. She wears her leather pants with her gut hanging out. She gets really hot and sweaty which turns me right on. We go for walks together althought we now can hardly walk because we gained so much weight so fast. She is now 485 and I'm somewhere around 630 or maybe 650 pounds, both fully clad in leather!

Honestly? I think big ladies are just as hot if not more so in tight clothes. That's just my take on it, but I really don't care about size that much.

I went to Layne Bryant the other day to check out what they had and was surprised to see some some decent things in there....thank god the pink stage is over with

I love to see women in form fitting things with some give in the parts that may be a little wider ....we dont need to see everything but at least some clothing that shows off the curves

The ones who do wear the form fitting stuff......gotta watch myself not staring, I just love watching the body in natural movement with freedom to do what it does best lol

This is a pet project of mine! I LOVE the way a woman looks in tight clothes! But, as said in an earlier post, accentuate the positive. However, what's positve to some is not always positve to others. I personally like tighter clothes all over a womans body. If ya can't stand what other people think or say maybe you shouldn't. But, if you are coming from if ya got it flaunt it..... Go for it!
There are some newer stores out here called Torid and the Victoia's Secret line of clothes for bigger girls called (i think) Casheay?

I'm so guilty on this one. I admit, I do wear things that are tight on me, but I try not to let my gut hang over my jeans. Like everyone else here, it's hard shopping for clothes that look good for my size, when they are making neon green sweaters that looks like a tent on me and super expensive.

like one blogger says it can be tight on the good parts, but the problem areas....heck no. who wants to see that!!!! i don't. like yesterday, at work at a public place mind you a large woman over 300 lbs. came in. she was pretty but her clothes were 2-3 sizes too small. because of that her gut stuck out over her skirt, her rolls were exposed and her normal length skirt had become a mini for all the patrons to see. i was ashamed and i know she thought she was in the heighth of fashion. i don't think any one would appreciate that kind of tightness.

Truer words have never been spoken Suebee! LOL!! The bigger it is the brighter it seems to be. And my favorite is the zoo animals they put on big clothes. Especially elephants! Why in the world would anyone big or small want an elephant or a hippo on anything they were wearing? LOL!! I personally kid alot about Omar the Tent Maker because someone I feel like that's the only place I'm gonna find anything at all to fit. But, once again, truer words have never been spoken.

Your right about the tent maker... its horrible but what I hate the most is they seem to think their is only one shape that bigger people have and only one shape so they make everything boxy, Hello some of us have waist some don't, some have big chest some don't, some have a big rear some don't (personally my rear is wide and high but has barely any curve... jeans slide down unless I buy them really tight and in a certain brand because of fitting issues with waist band fitting but the thighs too tight and the rear to loose.) I hate it. Whats really bad is they seem to think we should pay more for lower quality just cause its made bigger. I have walked into stores for larger women and looked at suit jackets for $100.00-up and found only partial lining in them but in a jacket for some one smaller in another store for cheaper with a full lining.

I agree with everyone here - tight clothes do not equal trashy clothes. You have to wear what suits your body type.

My biggest pet peeve - why oh why oh WHY do clothing manufacturers think a plus sized woman needs to wear loud colors and patterns that make her look like the broad side of a barn??? I absolutely hate seeing something on the rack, liking it, and then trying it on to find that I look like I've been shopping at Omar the Tentmaker's House of Plaid. If you have the skin tone and build to pull of brightly colored patterns in your wardrobe - go for it! But I despise that the clothing companies think ALL of us are made that way. And why is it SO hard to find classy suits that are cut to fit us, without paying an arm and a leg for them? Most of my wardrobe these days comes from Ebay - where I can shop at home, check the measurements to be sure it fits, and usually find exactly what I'm looking for without driving all over town.

I don't mind wearing tight clothes, but it depends on whether it flatters me or not.

I used to be a lot more self-concious about how my body looked. But, now I'm pretty comfortable wearing tighter clothes and showing my assets. (wink)

It just depends on who I'm with, I guess. :)

Its my personal belief that everyone should try clothing before making a purchase and that If it doesn't suit in the dressing room it will not be good to wear in public. Just because it comes in your size doesn't mean its meant for you to wear. My goal is always to be attractive, well groomed and Fabulous. So like the old folks used to say if the shoes fits, wear it.
Clothing should reflective of your personality, So when others say, WOW! You really look great, then I know that
is the look and the response I was going for.

My motto just because they make in your size doesn't mean u can wear it! I believe it depends on your build if you have certain build for certain type of clothing I say go for it but if not, no matter what size u are it is not happening!!! It becomes unflattering and down right trashy. Especially low rise jeans c'mon if you dont have hips or curves a size 8-30+ woman would look wierd. I was reading an article on how to shop for jeans based on what type of figure you have and I could not believe the transformation on some women when they found the right jeans for their figure! I find shirts that are high waisted and loose around my abdomen give me more of an hourglass figure so I try to wear shirts like that oppose to some that do not it really makes a difference!!!!

As I have gotten older and stopped worrying about what "mainstream" society says, I have learned to live by this motto, "Dress for the wearer (me) and not for the starer (anyone looking). I wear whatever I am comfortable in, and how I like for it to fit. It's all in what makes You feel good.

Why not wear something that is tight around your good parts and loose on your not so good parts. i have a big chest and great leggs, but a bit of a belly. so i try to wear tight jeans and a little looser top.
