Hey there folks :) K, first time posting and wondering just how effective this forum is for meeting friends and potential dates?? I have to tell ya, I'm way tired of meeting men who are interested in a "friends with benefits" relationship, who are married and want something on the side, or who are plain just nutz! lol!! I would really love to meet someone I could get to know better, have fun with (outside of the bedroom - lol!!), and see if something blossoms. Sure I'm lonely, but I'm not desparate, and am just not willing to settle for a man that isn't considerate, plays games, or doesn't treat me with respect. I know they're out there and probably, many are feeling the same way. Anyway, looking for a real relationship with all the trimmings... anyone in Michigan feeling similar??

I have made a good friend on here and hope to make more. One of these days I will find that special friend but for now I count myself lucky just to find a friend.

It's the same all over, unfortunately. I am in the UP so if you keep getting men "across the state" from ya and they seem decent, send them MY WAY! LOL!!!

Hi everyone! Nice to know I am not the only one having a tough time with these Michigan men! Every week I think-well, that is it, I quit. Then, the next day I am back on the page again, looking to see if there is any kind of chance for me. Guess we just have to keep at it, and know that there has to be one good guy out there (just hope it is one each, and we don't have to share the only good one!).

Wow, a response!! lol!! Yeah, I hear ya. Even the men in Michigan seem to be across the state from me -- may as well live in another state. Also, seems a lot of the men that contact me are more or less looking for fun and not a real relationship. Hope you have better luck than I have had. Take care.
