Hello

What do you say when you are making the first contact?  I try and pick up on something that is either in the other persons profile or picture, but sometimes it just comes across as corny.

Is it deemed unacceptable for women to make the first contact?

Jennifer... Yes, I would think it acceptable for the lady to make the first contact.... and the male should be very flattered. If you do make the first contact and the reaction is not pleasing to you... just keep in mind that about 50% of the men out there do not have a clue as to how to relate to a woman. Please don't be offended... and keep trying. I am a man and know there are good men out there... only you do have to be careful and look. And...often good men are shy... you you would be doing them a big favor.... they will be flattered. John
