I am not a trekkie, but this morning I woke up with this question:

Do Borgs need sleep?, or do they sleep?

Well, we do know that they "sleep" of sorts, because if you remember the Locutus episode of TNG, that was how they saved Picard. They sent a message to the collective via Locutus that they needed to sleep.


As for what is a Borg, they are a race in the Star Trek universe that is partially humanoid, partially cyborg. They come upon cultures, assimilate what they can use, and destroy the rest.

Borgs I think are NOT all robot.. they are mostly human....

Borgs go into something called an alcove, where they charge up. Kinda like putting rechargable batteries into a charger! I think it also recharged 7 of 9's chest, she put the borg in being borg!
