About a year ago I was staying at this place. It is suppose to be hunted the place is actually in a book called the hundred most famous places in America. Anyway supposedly there was this little girl murdered on the third floor of the main house so the always keep the light on. If the light goes out the little girl is suppose to come out and play. Well we really didn't believe it one night a few of us were sitting on the picnic tables smoking a cigarette when we saw something weired that we could not quite make out and that's when someone noticed that the light was out. Needless to say we did not stick around much longer to smoke anymore that night.
Okay, I have something a little freaky to tell you...my friend's mother in law just passed away a few weeks ago. Well her father in law went to get his haircut and his hairdresser was sitting outside getting some fresh air and greeted him when he came in, then she asked, don't you want your wife to come in with you? He said, my wife just passed away. She said, I'm so sorry but that woman that was in the car with you looked just like her, is that her sister. Of course he said, there was no one in the car with me, I'm alone now. She then got a little pale and just kept looking back at the car and didn't mention it again. Very interesting.
I had a couple of incidents myself... had a friend that was messing with voodoo and didn't even bother to learn what god/goddess she was calling on and we ended up having a friend possessed (screaming about visions of daemons killing her boyfriend, convulsions, tearing out hair, trying to claw at herself) and sounds that only certain people could hear (a scream in left ear at the beginning and a bird in the right ear when it ended). Feelings of cold bony hands on us. It was creepy... we made a circle and prayed till it was over. I also had a person of light show up in my living room when I was little during a storm. I was dumb enough to think it was a bugler and tried to follow it to the door but it ran like a flash and was gone, the door was still locked. It had actually looked at me for a moment when it first appeared. I think I wasn't suppose to be awake to see it or something. Cause it seemed to be as fascinated with me as I was of it. I now call it the lightning person cause it showed up after some lightning flashed. (the roof of the apartment next door fell of during this storm also)
Soooo, what was it that made it a terrifying 20 minutes?
There were four of us, and initially it was all a big laugh because the few times we'd done them before had been under the charge of a girl who was known to be attention-seeking. However, one of my friends was possessed (it's the only possible explanation, he never cries in front of ANYONE and he was weeping and terrified, just like the scared 7-year-old boy he said he was), and just as he was coming out of it another friend went into a trance (or fell asleep, one of the two) and broke the circle - very very bad, the circle's needed to bring a person back (or something like that). It took twenty minutes to get my friend to wake up, he was freezing cold the entire time, completely unresponsive, hardly breathing, and when he woke up he had no memories of the last hour ... I've never done another seance since.
KittehKhat write: I'm fascinated by the paranormal, though still a little sceptical even though some very freakish things have happened. Stupidly played with ouija boards and seances when I was in high school, had the most terrifying twenty minutes of my life. Every now and then I'll feel someone sit down on the bed beside me, and it'll be a little cold in that spot, but I won't be afraid, it's usually when I'm feeling down and once "they're" there things are a little better ...

I have always been fascinated by the Paranormal. I think I am going to join the Ghost Hunters Society out here in Seattle just for fun. I am a major skeptic BUT I do have an open mind. A friend of mine is very sensitive and has had some very interesting experiences. It would be really cool to find some evidence...
When I was married my wife and I were awakened in the middle of the night by music from a music box. I got up to find the source and it seemed to be coming from a jewelry box of hers in the closet. I asked if it had a music box in it and she said it did but she hadn't ever played it that she could remember. I checked and it was turned on. She thought it was something paranormal but I told her it was probably that the spring was losing it's tension over the years and finally gave enough to start playing. I'm not a very superstitous person so that's still what I think it was, but it was creepy at the time.
I've had a few things happen to me. Many times when the phone rings I can tell who it is. And I don't have caller id or any help from the phone company. Often when I'm driving and lost, I suddenly get the feeling to turn a certain way and then I find my way home. I've had that all my life. When I was dropped off somewhere far away, I always found my way home.
For more fascinating things to learn about They have a wonderful host named George Noory who has some very interesting guests. Art Bell does some time on there, also. East coast time is from 1am to 5am. California time would be three hours earlier. If you can't sleep, try listening to George. He is a wonderful host for all the paranormal stuff!
I have had a few but usually I like to visit places with supposed hauntings and like to see if the "incidents: can be debunked. But I did have one that is scary.
We were visiting a cemtary for fun and to look at some of the gravestones and to take some photos just to see what would develop and one ofthe group tried to provoke a ghost to show itself. Long story short nothing happened in the Graveyard but later that night when we got back to our freinds house we were sittingthere looking at photos and we got a figure in one ofthe photos that wasnt there. and every time we tok a shot of that area the figure moved.
Well, this was more of my daughter than myself...When babies see someone they know, they tend to grin, kick their legs, get all excited....we quite often had cold spots in our house...my daughter would quite often look at something that wasn't there, and do the whole excited routine. We had a lot of battery operated toys in the house, and they would quite often switch themselves on and start working! Very creepy! And they were toys that you had to switch on, when I would look at them, they were switched off. The scariest time was when the house was very warm (heating was on) but suddenly just the livingroom got really cold, and about 10 different musical/talking toys all went off in 3 different rooms of the house. I grabbed the baby and went next door!
