Ok I have a question and was wondering how other people feel about it..I recently moved over seas..And are in the process of aplying for residencey..How ever one of the the things my attorney said..Actualy the main thing she said.. Was that I need to lose weight and try to be more healthey..I guess that comes from the genral idea that all fat people are not healthey..She said that imagration here actualy looks at a persons BMI index..That kinda threw me honestly whos 2 say b/c a person is over weight they are always automatickly unhealthey.. Any other views on this matter??

I can only assume that they think this is a valid way to assess:

a) Your ability to contribute to said country

b) Your likelihood to be a drain on their medical resources

Hardly seems fair - I know far smaller people who me who work less hard and are less healthy!

Well I'm shocked I can't beleive the BMI has anything to do with it.
