Hello there every one.. I was at the mall yesterday and it was crowded what with the holliday rush and all.. And I had to go into a few shops that were well clostrofobic to say the least.. Not to mention the isles were all over packed.. And well if any of you understand its hard enough being a bbw in crowded places.. With out them makeing road blockes for you to knock over.. And then you gota love when your walking down a isle.. And people stare and gasp at you when you go by like hello.. I'm not the only fat person like 70% PPERCENT or somthing of the usa is "obease".. Any ways I had to get past these people to get to the regester.. I asked that skiney little B*tch like 8 times I even taped her on the shoulder.. And still she ignored me and even the guy she was talking to who could plainly see me ignored me as well.. I cant help but think if I was smaller it be easer to live in todays world.. For some reason it seams your waist size determines how much respect as a person you deserve now adays.. Not to mention the crap you see on tv.. Its some how excepted and encouraged to mkake fun of and belittle larger people.. Hmm if I did that to a black person or any other minority therede be hell to pay.. And ide be called a flaming racest..Makes you think some times ok just wanted to get that off my chest :)
i dont think its about size but about attitude. people are not attracted to people who "hide" or coward down. be bold, dont be afraid to stand out in a crowd. we are who we are darling and we are beautiful. be proud! im not saying that this is the reason for anyone's problem in general but i find that many bbw are afraid to be outgoing and have low esteem.
Thank you all so much for the support it's realy nice to know I'm not alone in this... And I'm going to be getting a new pic done by the end of the month prob.. Ty all again :)
I've been known to say something like.. I'm a fat girl, I know I'm not invisible. HELLLO!?!?! Of course, I've also been known to walk out of a store and leave all my crap on the conveyer belt too. LOL
As for the man at K-Mart, I probably would have been arrested for punching him in his stupid nose. My deceased grandmother would turn over in her grave for things I would say to him.
I'm going to hang out with kaffien.. lol.. I think we think alike. ;)
I can simpathize with ya one that cept ... I'm mouthy people tend not to ingnore someone who's in their face direct eye contact asking a question ..... and skinny people ... i tend to turn around quick and walk the other way and accidently run over them ... hehe. Your not invisible some people are just .... %%%%$#@holes and other mean names. And a picture in your post or profile will make you more .... visible to us at least!
I had an awful experience several years ago in K-Mart. I accidently bumped into the most obnoxious guy on the planet. He made the biggest scene in the front of the store- where many people gathered to listen- calling me fat this and that...Anyway I was embarrassed as you would imagine, but he made himself look like a complete idiot - the more we argued, the more of an idiot he looked- with dozens of people looking on. There will always be fools like that but at the end of the day we will be the ones who will shine through.
I know exactly how you feel that has happened to me on several occasions.Or when you are walking down an aisle in a store and it's narrow and someone else starts down the opposite direction and they see you the look on their face when they realize we might not fit!!
Pink........ I am sorry u had to go thru that too and I hope your New Year is much better and to everyone.... May we all find what we are looking for in the New Year!!! Happy New Year folks!
smiles, me
