I have been online for a few years and on this site for a few months looking around.  I have finally figured out why there are so many women and men looking but none connecting.

The majority of plus size women are looking for real, true love.  A companion, a life partner, etc.

Men interested in plus-size women fall into two categories:  #1 They are looking for full-figured, curvy, or voluptuous women or #2 They are fascinated by or curious about sex with a big woman and looking to have a new sexual experiece.

Although some people do, I don't put curvy or voluptuous women in the category of plus-sized.  Plus-sized means plus all over, not just in the breast or butt.  So men looking for curvy or voluptuous women come to plus-size sites and completely overlook the actual plus-size women.

As for those men actually looking for actual big women for sex, there is a mismatch between what we are looking for and what they are looking for.  Women are not looking to be some man's experiment or ginnea pig.  We are looking for soulmates, friends, and companions.

So now that I have figured this out, I understand that there is not something wrong with me or my profile.  It is just that men interested in plus size women are not looking for life partners or committments, they are looking to satisfy some kinky desires.

All of you plus-size women don't give up or get discouraged.  We don't want these types of men anyway.  I'd rather be alone anyway than to be a hookup!!!

These comments are a true testament to just how many beautiful and smart plus size women there are on here. You are all a great catch for the men on here and I hope they all take time to read this thread. Good luck to all of you!

I agree with most of what you say but there is one reason you forgot why some men seek out bigger women; the fact that they believe (and it's sometimes true) that big girls have low self-esteem and will jump on any guy who shows a little bit of interest because in their eyes beggars can't be choosers.
Me personally, I'd rather spend the rest of my life alone than with someone who thinks I'm gonna be grateful he wants me.

I agree with what Micki has stated. Ive been on dating sites before and not just ones for plus sized individuals! I've come to realize that there a bottomless pit more of the irrational/superficial men on dating sites because it "easy access" to all types of women therefore opening doors to avenues and highways that are fast and dangerous. We all know the saying you gotta have tough skin to run with the wild. Well, you gotta have even tougher skin when online dating! Lol! There ARE plenty of fish in the sea, BUT only a few are good to eat! Dont get down or disponded, true enough its not you, it's them!

I completely agree. In my experience men say they want a plus size woman, but all they want are big boobs and big butt. That is SOOO not plus size. And the men who want to see what sex is like with a plus size woman are just pathetic. Why can't a plus size woman be your girlfriend or your wife? Why does she have to be hidden behind the closed doors of a bedroom?

Well I do believe you are right Micki...however, i'm also finding so many scammers on these sights that it kills me to think that some people are actually falling for them...it makes me sick....people who are sincerely looking for love being taken for by scammers using their hopes and dreams to destroy their bank accounts. So make that type number 3

I agree with much of what you've said. I have even been a victim of mistaken intentions. LOL

However, I believe that there are many men that want a BBW for a life partner, just not separate from feederism or "fat piggy" play. Some men want to be care givers and find 8 and 900 lbs women to be excruciatingly exciting. They welcome immobility. I do not understand this at all but figure, to each his own! LOL

I hate to say it, but I've been on many websites that have been built for the empowerment of the Plush and Beautiful but it is literally like trying to pluck a star from the sky - finding someone who loves you to death.... and your plush.... IN THAT ORDER, whether you are a BHM, A BB, SSBB, or USSBBW.

I am struggling with thinking that these individuals are like the Pinta Island Tortoise... endangered and nearly extinct.
