This has been one of the longest weeks and I am so glad it is over with! Sometimes we get so caught up in the busy-ness of our lives that we forget to take the time for US. I went yesterday after work and got a massage.... wow... did I ever need that! So do something nice for yourself. Go get a massage. Go get a manicure or pedicure or both! Spoil yourself a little.... because after all... YOU DESERVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
hehe Kew yes i'm really a nanny, i'v been with this family for a bit over 2 years and have been since i was 17 with a bit of a gap, so about 6 years in total.
it is really good when you work for a family with similar values etc sometimes its a nightmare but you leave them asap.
It is one of the few jobs you could say that you really do have fun at, i go to the park and for picnics most days and have a ball, lots of hard work too but the good outweights the bad most days.

My day su(ked.. My Uncle (Godfather even) has been on dialysis for a few years now, and my cousin called to say that he was admitted to the hospital and developed sepsis as well as phnemonia, he also has a growth on his heart valvue and an infection in his gallbladder. The doctors were going to operate today but said they may not becuase my Uncle is so bad that they dont think he'll survive the operation. I will find out in a half an hour if they did the operation or not..but the Drs said to notify the family so we know it isn't good. Hopefully we will head down there in the next few days to see him (he lives in Pennsylvania) anyways...yeah my day hasnt been the best... need cheering up!!!!!

Freysh, are you really a Nanny? That is sooooooo cool! That is something my daughter would be great at but I can't talk her into checking into it. She is 21, working in a daycare right now while she goes to school at night to be a teacher. But she loves kids and is absolutely wonderful with them. Wow... you do have the best of both worlds... you get to love the little ones and then turn them back over to their mommy and actually get some sleep! LOL
Well, enjoy the bath... I think I am going to get one of those tonight... I have had a migraine since Monday and it just won't go away. Have a wonderful day and an even better weekend!

Modgal... my daughter has PCOS too. I know it is scary to be told you have any type of condition, but this one is totally treatable so I wouldn't let it upset you too much. I have had days like that where you think, "What ELSE is going to go wrong today?" I am so sorry you had such a rotten day.
Well, after a day like that sweetie, you need to do something special for yourself. Something where you can just forget all the bad stuff and just think about something positive and nice. Go get a massage!
My day was as busy as my week.. I work with high school kids with physical and mental disabilities and trust me...it's work!! However.. I do love my job even if it's stressful.
Kew..a full body massage sounds soooo good...but i think I will settle for a hot bubble bath, candles and music
