If I won the lottery I would:
invest in my own business
invest in real state in NY and downsouth
Pay off my student loan
Go to tahiti for my own graduation present
And pay for a nanny when I go to tahiti
I think if I won, I would donate a certian amount of it to projects I believe in (10+ million). Educational programs, rescue programs, rehabilitaional services...so on.
Then I would spoil myself ROTTEN!!!
I would spend half the year in New Hampshire (which I love) and the other half at a "small camp".
Name of it "CAMP DO-What-you-want" located on several acres in the sunny carribean with beach front access in a Spanish style villa with plenty of guest rooms (20 or 30). Staffed twenty for seven , with LIMO service of course, you know to really "rough it"
Ok maybe it wouldn't be "small" and camp may not be the right word to discribe it LOL, but I can guarantee you it will be FUN!! especially the cook outs....somebody remember the macaroni salad if you plan on stopping by.
If the Jackpot allows... i would rent the whole West End side of an Island I know called ROATAN, two hours by plane flying shouth from Texas (in the country of Honduras) for an Entire Week, and get plane tickes for all you guys and girls and have a week long party !!!!!

After I am released from the hospital from passing out from the news and cracking my head on the floor, I would give some to the people I know need it really badly. My family, friends, the homeless, poor, animal shelters, etc. I then would proceed to kick it like there was no tomorrow!! I don't mean a little, I mean slap down on a big-a** yacht in the middle of the freakin' ocean with a helicopter on the top deck and champagne chillin' in a bucket next to my big ole souped up lounge chair that rolls like a wheelchair if I need to move from one side of the yacht to the other. There would be a kick a** band playing on deck #3 and about 20 of the hottest athletes/studs you have EVER laid eyes on gathered around me. And me, well,I got so much bling on, I'm sending SOS signals to NASA. They think a star is burning out over the ocean, baby. I got on my cheap sunglasses, my stiletto high heels, my bathing suit on and my hair all blowing in the wind, eating caviar served off a 24 carat gold tray. Yep, that's what I'd do. Oh yeah, I'd also subscribe to HBO, cause I don't get all the cable channels right now.
Lottery winnings...hrmmm...I'd travel the world and move to the South Pacific, tsunamis be damned! I have no problem laying on the beach doing nothing but getting tanned...yum!
Our lotteries here are NO WHERE NEAR as grand as yours .... I think the BIGGEST we have had and that was country wide was 30 mill thats about 25 mill US .... the average is about 3 - 6 million here weekly, but if I won a huge amount, a lot of people would benefit ... and if I was a billionaire, I would have like a personal lotto for people who are down and out and have food vouchers and a bill payment scheme where I could pay bills for the month for families who needed it from time to time .... but for the personal indulgence .... travel to the USA and the UK and see some kick A** concerts that you guys have over there.... now that would be AWESOME !! oh and buy property and stuff like that ... u know the usual
I'd pay off all my credit cards and student loans. Put some aside for grad school, enough to pursue a couple more degrees if I want them. Then I'd pay off any debts my parents have and totally remodel their house. I'd make sure there was enough money to get both my brothers through college.
I'd probably build my dream home after that, because I think a house is the best personal investment in the world. Then I would travel the world and donate money for the rest of my life. I love how Oprah goes to Africa and not only donates but does stuff with her own two hands. I want to do something like that too.
kimmi, I am feeling you about paying off the student loans. That is the first thing I would do. Then I would probably pay off my mom's bills and finish paying off her house. Of course I would have to do something fun, so I would probably get some girlfriends together and go to Hawaii.
gather up all family members, best friend , married cople best friends- all take a trip to claim it together. Everyone gets a share and all are taken care of
I don't need that much for myself, probably pay off my student loans, buy a little house, and maybe go back to school, and I would have lap band surgury done. I would definitely take care of family and friends... cars, houses, vacations, etc. I would send more care packages to my adopted soldiers, hell I might have pizza delivered if I could find a way to get it done. Then I would throw a yearly weeklong bash in Vegas, or other venue of entertainment, just as long as its fun for all my friends.
Probably faint, fall down, get a concussion, swallow my tongue and either die or get amnesia and start wishing i was the lucky s.o.b. who won. At the least, I could pay off my bar tab and quit working 3-4 jobs.
