Thanks Kat...I sound a lot smarter than I actually am, but I have my monments. I look forward to getting to know you.

Upon thinking about this topic last night, I guess this is why really good friends are so valuable. We all need our confidants, eh?

Tonguezilla...I hope you read this...I left a message under another post (about diabetics)...I am called Kat because I love Kittens And Tuesdays (with or without Morrie (it's a book)...don't give up on me...consider me your Angel Over Los angeles

My two favorite quotes are; from Michelangelo "I see the angel in the marble and carve to set it free" and from Richard Bach "what the caterpillar calls a butterfly, the master calls a butterfly"...I love that you are so well versed in famous quotes.

This is why I prefer being around BBW's...their thoughts on life are not shallow ones, and they generally still have enough compassion and love to care about other people. I am reminded of the quote, I think by Shakespeare, "The world is a comedy to those who think, and a tragedy to those who feel."

What a nice post...

all are good actually...but...like Mr Mcmadd....I too feel....

Well, someone up there must not have the same "balances" for me....

faithful and honest...
gets...I love you but.....I need more...

what is a gal to do.....

when the love of her life..says....

the way you are....is not enough....

sigh......

Still behaving...but the mind is wandering....to the time when I was enough...............C

The Purple Hat
When a women looks in the mirror?
Age 3:
She looks at herself and sees a Queen!
Age 8?
She looks at herself and sees herself as Cinderella/Sleeping Beauty.
Age 15?
She looks at herself and sees herself as Cinderella/Sleeping Beauty/Cheerleader or if she?s PMS?ing sees Fat/Pimples/UGLY
(?Mum I can?t go to school looking like this!?)
Age 20?
She looks at herself and sees ?too fat /too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly? but decides she?s going anyway.
Age 30?
She looks at herself and sees ?too fat /too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly? but decides she?s doesn?t have time to fix it, she?s going anyway.
Age 40?
She looks at herself and sees ?too fat /too thin, too short/too tall, too straight/too curly?- but says, ? At least I?m clean? and goes anyway.
Age 50?
She looks at herself and sees ?I am? and goes where ever she wants to go.
Age 60?
She looks at herself and reminds herself of all the people who can?t even see themselves in the mirror anymore. She goes out and conquers the world.
Age 70?
She looks at herself and see wisdom, laughter and ability, goes out and
enjoys life.
Age 80?
She doesn?t bother to look. She just puts on a purple hat and goes out to have fun in the world.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Maybe we should all grab that purple hat a little earlier.
The beauty of a woman is not in the clothes she wears, the figure she
carries, or the way she combs her hair.
The beauty of a woman must be seen within her eyes, because that is the doorway to her heart, the place where love resides. The beauty of a woman is not a facial mole.
But true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul.
It is the caring that she lovingly gives, the passion that she shows, and the beauty of a woman with the passing years only grows!
I also enjoyed your post, LadyLuc! There were a lot of suggestions that I hadn't thought of in a while, and I'm more aware of now.
I wish everyone thought like that!
Thanks!
