To everyone back in the states...just be glad you don't live in China. Right now I live in Shanghai, China. When I walk down the street here I might as well be a giant panda from the zoo. Once a guy nearly ran his bike into a wall because he turned around to look at me. Sometimes I wave if they stare too long which always shocks them. Just remember that you are big and beautiful and flaunt it with confidence and you will shut them up.
I'm a bit like that too... I walk around in my own little world. The number of times I've walked straight past people I know without even noticing them is not even funny. Of course this is also down to the fact that I don't wear my glasses all the time so I tend to walk around with the world being a blur but yes... I'm mostly sealed off from the outside world when I'm out and about.
KW Trucker, your looks isnt what's holding you back, your good looking, weight isnt an issue from what I see. It's how you feeliin inside that is your worst enemy. People of all sizes, shapes and color gets made fun of. Your not alone.... but we find in this world what we are looking for. You looking for acceptance/approval and you didnt get it from (stealing this phrase) one of the slimbo bimbo's lol. Dont give those "types" of people 5 more precious seconds of your life. Look towards the ones that accept who you are, and look away from those who cant appreciate all HUMAN BEANS Peace OUT
Every one of us is a sensual being, if you believe it yourself, then that is the impression others will have of you. FYI, no one looks their best in a pic because the spark for life in your eyes can't be protrayed by a kodak.
I have to agree with Drmcatcher. People need to take others as they are. We all are different and that is what makes life so interesting. If someone wants you but needs to change you then it is not meant to be. They will like/love you for who you are. Big/Small/Short/Tall. There are many women out there, as you can see by just the conversation here, that enjoy larger men. So, don't give up, especially on yourself. Walk tall, smile, see what happens.
I like your photo. My hubby (technically he still is) is a lot bigger than you about 150kg (not sure of the conversion about 380lb- I think) and he's very attractive if you ask me. He gets winks from another dating site as well. So there are definitely women out there that like a larger man - me included.
I agree with all of the above comments... and just want to add my 2 cents worth... I got tired of the looks and feeling "invisible" and hibernated in my house for many years... it was easy to get comfortable with isolation...and depressed... Definitely NOT the right solution. Now I am out there no matter what anyone thinks!!
KWTRUCKER...I am most definately not "slim" but i am young...
And i know if i saw you, i would not step on the gas to get away...mayb to catch up, from you tryin to get away but thats about it! :) xxxx
Your a fyn lookin olda gentleman!
zbig, good for you..welcome to the land of the we're not going to be pushed around because we're the little fat kid..that's right, I am a little fat kid and if you keep messing with me, I'm bound to just whipp your azz because you're about to pizz me off. LOL ;-)
I hav't to agree with Cathi,KB, and Theo. I have a 19 year old foster son who is a big boy. I'm a good 20lbs heavier than he. When he first came he used to be so self conscious that people were watching him, he couldn't eat comfortably in public. I (along with his therapist) pointed out to him EVERYONE has flaws. People who point out yours are insecure about their own. Own your flaw, accept it. I AM FAT! Once you accept this no one can make you feel bad about it. "OK I'm fat. Would you like to tell me something I didn't know Sherlock?" Get ghetto with it,"I'm fat AND!" I had a realative jokingly and loudly accuse me of eating the whole Easter Tukey earlier this year. She caught me off guard. I went into the restroom looked in the mirrior and said,"You not smarter than me. You don't make more money than me. You can't whoop my a$$, so you don't get to talk about me." With that shift alone in my attitude No one else that night even tried it.
... and here's my remedy to the situation.... Usually, I think in the back of my mind, I could buy and sell you ..stare all you want to as I laugh my azz off. Remember, that folks that have to put others down by their comments or even their "looks" is really insecure with themselves.
Chin up, kiddo .. not everyone in the world is so insecure! Look at all of us!!!!!
