Aphrodite2000 asked us what our 10 most favorite songs of all time were. Well, that got me to thinking, is there a song that comes on the radio and you just have to change the channel or just shut the dang thing off?
For me it's "roxanne" by Sting/THe Police. I just can not stand that song. Drives me crazy!!
Hey Jude by The Beatles has got to be the worse song ever made. Hearing them say Judy, Judy, Judy & Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah Nah which seemed to be a million times was nauseating.
I can NOT STAND Shiny, Happy People by REM. That song is the sole reason why my alarm is a beep instead of the radio! I will literally plug my ears and scream if I hear it.

I've got this feeling, so appealing,
for us to get together and sing. Sing!
Barb, I don't agree with you about the Beatles, but I don't see and never have seen the appeal of Elvis. Maybe because all I remember is the jumpsuit wearing, Vegas guy or the the fat dude who croaked on the crapper. You turn him on, I tune out. As for the Eagles, way back in the 70's when I was in school I would have agreed with the statement that that's all you heard and I too couldn't stand them, just like Aerosmith, but now days I don't hear them as much and can appreciate what they do, for the Eagles, and that they're still doing it, for Aerosmith.
I always find that when you get a really good artist like Elvis and they sing a really badly written song, it makes the song seem ten times worse.
I also hate it when you buy a CD with 1 good track and 13 bad ones. But you buy the CD to get that 1 good track.
As an example I'd use the Monkeys from the 60's. Some great tracks and some seriously bad ones and the Beach Boys did the exact same thing. So did Johnny Cash. So did most artists. Even the Beatles were heading this way towards the end.
Even Elton John has his bad days when it comes to the songs that he sings.
I always thought Clint Eastwood did a good job of that Honkey Tonk Man song. Even though he's not even a singer, I wish I had that on CD but I doubt if it was ever released.
I think I'll vote Dolly Parton as being the best and Chris Christopherson as being the worst.
I don't know if this is the song that I hate the most, but after watching American Idol last night, I was reminded how much I hate the song, "I am Changing". The young lady that sang it did a great job, but I utterly, utterly detest that song!!!
Whatsa a matter you?
HEY!
Gota no respect.
What do ya thinka you do?
Whya looka so sad?
It'sa not so bad.
HEY!
It'sa nicea place.
Aw shaduppa ya face.
I loved that song. Mind you I was a kid,but it was cool.
Well for me it's kyle manouges mind numbing tune "I just cant get you out of my head" I think that's the name my god that was OVER PLAYED.. And the video was lame too..
