Here's a simple poll for you. Would you rather woo or be wooed? Would you get more satisfaction receiving flowers from a secret admirer, or knowing that you were the one who gave them? Are you awaiting Prince Charming, or are you still battling wind and weather on horseback, trying to find your Princess?

To pursue or to be pursued? That is the question. Sound off!

I am not against pursuing a man and think that a woman has the right and responsibility to go after someone if she is attracted to him. Unfortunately, every time that I have done the pursuing, the man was not interested in me. And what makes it worse is that each time that I pursued someone I was so sure that they were sending me signals that they were interested in me. As a somewhat shy person, I really felt like and idiot each time and would retreat into my shell. Therefore, I don't pursue anymore and let the man pursue me.

When I joined this site, I will admit that I received alot of winks, but the person that I chose to give my attention to was the man that put alot of effort into pursuing me. Besides admiring his tenacity in the pursuit, I just plain liked him and let the others know that I found the kind of man that I was looking for.

I guess that being pursued makes me feel wanted and that is what I want from a man. I want and NEED to feel that I am actually wanted by him, which leads to him making me feel appreciated by him. Without that assurance, I am not happy in a relationship.

I totally like to be pursued, but sometimes I do pursue them. I like to be flirted with and I like to flirt back. It's just sexy when a dude will flirt with you and you know he's really interested. That peak of excitement knowing that you both like each other and playing with that is sooo cool. Especially when you're together somewhere and he's watching you with that certain look. He has to pursue me at that point then I will respond.

I have persued a couple of times and fell FLAT on my face !! well ... ummm actually "the girls" stopped the fall getting to my face but thats another story !! lol... no but really , I have persued and been hurt SO bad, only cause one in particular led me on to believe something was going to happen, and then he turned around to say I was too forward !!! oh man ... then dont lead me on dude !! but my current guy DID NOT give up ... he was persuing and persuing and constantly being zapped !! lol but in the end it paid off... and it was REALLY nice to have someone to go to so much effort just to be with me .... so I liked the chase

How great would it be to be utterly wooed and swept off our feet, ladies? It's so cliche, and so unlikely it seems. Which is probably why I'll wait for my knight in shining armor until I'm disappointed.

I think it is nice to be pursued. But I'm not shy so I also do the pursuing. Besides if I wait for my mystery man then I will be old and grey and ready for my grave so what the hell I'm going to have fun while I can.
