I have been a paid member of this site off and on for 3 years. No matter if I send email or send a wink, I rarely get any acknowledgement back. At least acknowledge. I have met 2 men locally from the site...one date with each. One was kind of still dating someone, and I don't like to get in the middle. The other one said on the first date there was no attraction. You have to wonder why these men even have profiles up here if they don't even answer you back. I'm interested in meeting someone locally and there are probably about 30 local profiles out there within 50 miles. But I've yet to get a response back. I know I'm nice. I know the looks decent wagon didn't pass me by either. What gives?

Hmmmmmm u know I wonder about that too ... I have met some real nice guys in NJ but it seems that the ones that live rite down the street never respond...... I wonder if they are afraid that if it doesn't work out u are too close for comfort??????? Oh well..... just thinking out loud....

well i dont know about the NY area (as i live in scotland at the mo') but i mean, i'm not a paid member so i cant respond to any of the people who 'wink' at me. perhaps that's the case with many of the men you contact?
That said, ill admit ive not responded to many of the winks i've had either. 'vibes' or whatever. Maybe it's best you not hear from them and not waste time when you could find mr. right?

I also live in New York state; I've been using this site for a bit now and have yet to see that many women from around here. Maybe us New Yorkers aren't especially welcome here.....I have no idea.
