I am in the same situation.  Was married and he left due to (as he put it) "his issues" and now I am back out there dating and I am wondering if there are men out there that are not out there just to try to scam women.  I seem to have run into those type of "ads" and when you tell them you wont give them money they disappear.  Funny how that works.
