I am often amazed at how fast life seems to speed by. I have only gotten over the fact that we are in the 21st Century and already it is approaching 2006!
I have realized that one truly needs to squeeze the most out of life, love the ones dear to you as much as you possibly can, you don't know when they will be gone, respect and care for your parents, they are aging and going faster then you imagine..life I guess is so precious yet we fail to truly understand this until it is too late.....
A.....that's funny, cos I felt like I was stalking YOU! lol I think I've posted after you 4 times now.
I wanted to contact you directly, but I'm not a member any more...I tried to beat the system, but they weren't having any of it :o(
Take care xx
These are wise words indeed.
In the hustle & bustle of our busy lives, it's easy to lose perspective and forget what's most important to us.
Aphrodite, I'm so sorry to hear about your Nana, it sounds like you were really close. Hugs to you x
I attended the funeral of a 2yr old boy last week (my friend's son was struck down with meningitis). It was heartbreaking, and made me realise how fragile life is.
My noisy, dirty, cheeky, infuriating but wonderful kids are so precious.I make sure I appreciate them every day.

I understand that completely. I have for the past few years been dealing with the subject of mortality, and the fact that our time here is limited.
Life slips past one's fingers too quickly I have found. I guess it has helped me to realize I need to slow down a little bit, take a breat and a look around.
