Let's have a picnic! I know of an awesome city park that has a pond and lots of little tucked away wooded areas. Perfect to spread out a blanket and relax in the shade. We can enjoy our lunch and laugh and "people watch." Feed the geese. Hold hands and walk around the park. When it gets dark, go home and cuddle on the sofa and watch "The Daily Show."

I would like to chat in person or on the phone or email and feel the person out. First impressions are lasting impressions. I have been out of circulation and now a widow. It is important to me that a man knows what he wants in a relationship and be straight forward with it, because I am a direct person and I speak what I see, hear, and feel. I want a guy that doesn't go through the honeymoon stage and then gets bored and then moves on.

The perfect first date for me is one that is easy going and comfortable. After ...
The perfect first date for me is one that is easy going and comfortable. After all we're just getting to know each other, so it's more about going to a place where we can talk and just spend time together. I do enjoy the movies, dancing, etc., however on a first date we need to talk and be able to hear each other and the movies/dancing would not facilitate that.
