There's always so much pressure for a first date...and it's been so long since I had to deal with the dating scene that I'm not even sure what the rules are anymore. I like the idea of a no pressure scenario. There are no expectations and we just go where the feeling takes us.

How about we explore some of the wonderful things to do in Chicago? Museums, outdoor concerts, walk along Navy Pier. Or we could get to know each other over a quiet dinner, or hang out with friends. I'm open, but my back problem does pose challenges to what I can do and for how long.....

It would have to be someplace where we would both feel at ease and comfortable. First dates are hard enough without the place or event making it worse. I would have to go with a picnic in the park. Followed by a walk if things go well. The park provides someplace that is laid back. Casual clothing, casual food, and no wait staff interrupting every couple of minutes. :)
