I was just getting to know her, and we were getting along very, very well. She was delightful! Tragically, she was killed in a head-on autombile accident a couple of weeks ago. I tried to post a message about her tragic death in the comment section of her profile. Apparently, reporting that someone has died is against the rules, because the censors blocked the message. They probably sent an email to her to ask if she actually died. So, if you ever try to contact someone who never answers you, don't take it personally. They might (literally) not be here anymore.

Thanks to all of you who have read this far, and also thanks to my friends who posted.

So sorry for your loss. I wonder sometimes at the screening process here. There doesn't seem to be a consistent standard. Certainly in this case it would be appropriate to check the information, but people need a place to vent their grief. Best wishes to you.

I thought of that issue, that is, that someone who was vindictive toward a member might post something awful like that. IF "they" (whoever "they" is) had contacted me and asked, I could have given them a link to her on line obituary. The censors did, in fact, leave out one sentence I had written about the issue so one must be careful what one says up here. I wonder what their criteria is? In reality, they should remove her profile but I have no control over that. I wonder how long a profile stays on line where there is no action on it from the owner? I wish I could say more about her but it seems pointless. I'm just glad I had the short time with her that I did have.

Sorry to hear that happened, her passing that is. I can understand why they might not post the comment, some people are vindictive and mean. Although it would be a cruel and nasty thing to post something like that if it were not true some people would. I am glad you had the opportunity to see how brightly her star can shine, if even for a brief moment.
