Hey y'all, Not to be offensive, but... My latest beau has some serious piercings. no, he doesn't have any where you can see. I have always wanted to get a few of my own... My ears were done by my nanny and mother when I was a baby... I'm all grown now and am seriously thinking about getting the girls pierced. He wants, and I am thinking about getting my hood pierced too...Has anyone gone through any of this? I have done some research on it and the healing time is what I'm most concerned about. I've got about 35 days 'till he comes back from a contract and want to be able to be active with him.

Wow y'all, I am really having second thoughts about this. Yes I have read all of the horror stories about these types of piercings... but I have also read about the perks of having them as well! I suppose the major reason for not doing them is the money! Dang this can be expensive and I can use that money on more important things like clothes for my son. Ok, maybe just one will have to do. Too funny Island! Ya just have to be careful and consider what type of jewelry to get... you have to always be aware of what you're doing... Zippers can hurt too. Thank you all for the wise words and well wishes! I'll let you know what I decide to do......Elaine

The decision has to be yours and yours alone, taking into account potential pain, infections, loss of feeling and what everyone else has already said. Something I'm curious about is with the piercings to the nether regions ...... if he and she have piercings in similarly intimate places what happens if they accidentally clash and become linked/entangled or whatever? Bring on a painful and very embarrassing visit from the paramedics!!!

There will always be horror stories about these things.  I know people who have had piercings ripped out but then I also know a lot of people with piercings who have never had a problem.  There is increased sensation with any piercing but that can also wear off.  I got my piercings because I liked the look of them rather than the hope they would bring more sensation.  Anything else is a bonus.

I also have tatts and tatts are more painful purely because the pain goes on for longer.  The pain of the piercing is relatively short-lived.

OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know it is a personal choice to get peirceings. But as for me not going to happen.I have had enough holes poked in my body over the years by accident. However If I was to have a peircing, one concern for me would be as I lose weight what a bout all the extra skin. That new belly ring might just be at my knee's in a year or two. Or two how to keep everything from getting Irratated and infected or worse A peircing getting ripped out while engaugeing in a love making session. If you chose to do It Do it for you! Not your partner.I would also do as much research as to the procedure and complications from it . Ive seen a few photos of peircings gone wrong It was not a pretty sight. esp where the peircings were ripped out. Or the peircings got severely infected and large areas had to be removed to save the persons life .

Just my ears are pierced one hole each side so whatever you like - no pain no gain but I have no experience with any sensitive area piercings (other wise known as %))@&*$353958-lol) Just make sure you are doing because it's something you've always wanted and not just for him. Thinking be really careful about infections/cleanliness and no attaching any pull chains (sorry - I couldn't resist) Good Luck!

I thought about getting piercings but I decided they're just not for me. I think they're cool, though. I've dated a couple of folks with piercings and I think they're sexy. Don't get pierced for someone else. Do it because you've decided it's pain you want to go through for yourself. And, please research the worst case scenarios...for example a friend of mine snagged her hood piercing on the seam of her jeans which put her out of commission for a few days but, she kept the piercing so it must not have been too bad. Good luck!

Baby cakes, Many nerve endings on everything that you want pierced. My question to you is are you willing to take the chance that there could be sensation lost? Rip roaring infection? I myself prefer all my girlie bits to be as they are. I find no fault in the way all of it was made. Well other than the girls are so far south that they speak with an accent! Of course I will chime in with the others here and say if it's something that you want to do, then by all means go ahead. You seem to be level headed through out your posts. All I can say is that I am cringing....lol Be well. Qadesh

Thank you Phoenix! Do you have them? I do plan on taking every precaution. I was told that the nips take longer to heal because they are the most frequently handled or touched...by clothing etc. The hood usually takes 5 days to two weeks if kept clean...which I hope everyone does... Yes, I do want them more so for me.

Nerdy! You kiss your mama with that mouth? LOL yeah, its mostly for me. I hear that the sensations are much more intense. I also heard that tats hurt worse cause they are continual pricks of the needle and piercings are just once and its kinda a pleasurable pain. My &%^$&^%( and my &^%#$^&@ send back their reguards! Elaine

The only thing I would say is be sure you want them done and it's not something you are doing to please him. Both lots of piercings hurt and the healing time is likely to be longer than 35 days although this doesn't mean you can't indulge but you have to be very careful and very gentle. You will also have to use condoms and all bodily fluids should be kept away from the areas.

So you're thinking of getting your %&#%$ and your $#&$@# pierced huh? As long as you wanting it is the only influencing factor. If there's any doubt then no. I don't have any piercings. Not even an ear. I do have several tattoos so I'm not afraid of needles but no piercings. Well good luck to you and your %&#%$. Oh and give my regards and best wishes to your $#&$@# as well.
