February 2nd always reminds me of that Bill Murray movie Groundhog Day.  Christmas reminds me of It's a Wonderful Life.  July 4th reminds me of Independence Day (Will Smith).  When different holidays or dates come around, are you reminded of any particular movie?

My first and only (so far) niece Jacqueline was born on the pseudo-holiday of April Fool's Day 6 years ago so now that day reminds me of her. 4th of July reminds me of my cousins because when we were kids, our parents were partying inside and my cousin Ricky stole his dad's tattoo gun. We all went out into the garage and gave each other a little tattoo of a circle in the middle of each of our chests. We all still have them with the exception of my cousin Reuben who cried and made my cousin Joe stop only 1/3 into it. Now he has a small semi-circle which we all laugh at.

I used to watch The Sound of Music every year at Christmas; I've probably seen it 25 times. I know, it's shocking. lol My new Christmas favorite is Love Actually. This past Christmas I was snowed in and couldn't make it to see my family, but it wasn't a total loss. I camped out in bed with the Holiday goodies and popped in the DVD. It was actually kind of nice, except for missing my family.

Halloween! It's my favorite! I am a horror flick fan, especially if it has a lot of cool special effects and messes with your mind with an unexpected ending or really cheesy like the blob. Not the gorey jason or saw stuff. My absolute favorite is called The Serpent and the Rainbow. Super cool! Elaine
