Have ya ever had that one date/relationship that you will never regret having. I have. The circumstances by which we met weren't ideal, but the relationship that followed was utterly amazing. I had the most fun, bar none, that I have ever had in a relationship. I had just gotten out of a 12 year relationship with my ex so it was so unexpected to find something so special this quick. I haven't seen this girl for two and a half years now but hardly a week goes by that I dont think about her. Do I miss the relationship? yes If I reconnected with her would it be the same? I doubt it but for that nine months I had with her I wouldn't trade it for anything. plus she moved about 2500 miles away lol

I almost married that one ... And if I ever find a man who looks at me the way a certain boy I remember from junior high did, I hope I will know this time how rare it is and grab it with both hands.

No no no don't be sad baby. Like I said it was so wonderful and I count myself lucky to have had that experience in my life. I don't know if we are all supposed to experience something like this but for me what can I say. That could have been the peak for me:)

silv2001 I think the answer to you question is yes. I feel we all have a relationship or two that for whatever reasons slips from our grasp , and yet decades later still haunt us on what might have been. In my case She was my Fiance in high school. like a knot head I was to blinded as what true beauty of a woman was. She was BBW and what society would call average looking. Yet,I let her slip from my grasp because I wanted the perverbial "10" . Yet as I chased after this MYTHICAL creature I only to lost some more valuable than the mythical beast that I sought. She was a woman in the truest sense that she cared for me inspite of all the faults I had. She was perfect because she knew how to hunt , fish, clean game, garden, sew. She had an ability to cook just about anything and make it taste good. I think she could have even made shoe leather taste good. But she has moved on in life as I must as well.
