Has any body seen the new Fox show "More To love"? I have to say I applaud them trying to be fair . However I feel the made several of the contestants last night look like Stark raving bundle of emotions.I hope the producers have counseling for the ladies that have got booted of. Because I feel the producers preyed upon the ladies insecurities for pure entertainment. Has any else seen the show and feel the same way? What do you think?

The one thing to remember about this type of show is that NOBODY IS FORCED TO TAKE PART! If people are niaive enough to think it's about anything other than providing entertainment at someone elses expense and selling advertising space then they will surely be very disappointed!

truefriendinm you seem to have a good brain on your shoulders, i think your comment is right on the money.¿ One of the worst things about so called reality tv is they have to have raw emotion to play with and i for one dont watch for that reason.¿ In my 20 yrs working fire and rescue i saw enough reality to last me a lifetime and if i need a fix like that again all i have to do is go around the city and im sure i will find all i can handle.

Ok, I agree with alot of what was said. But, I have an issue with something. So they have a show with big beautiful women on it. So they are drawing attention to the plight of big people. So they picked a bunch of whiny, insecure, and desperate women. BIG DEAL!!! I'm big and someone else is not. I'm single and someone else is not. I think that the bigger issue is that those women were singled out and labeled as though they were so freakishly strange that a public 'beating' was necessary. Yes, I know they volunteered but what does that tell you about how they view themselves and their 'problem'. If being large has our own society then what is stopping us from 'forcing' others to accept us. Someone please tell me if im just rambling or if i have a point. P.S. If me being large is a 'problem' in society I don't care.

I agree compleatly that the producers are making thease ladies look Extreamly desperate.I feel the are also making the larger ladies seem A littleb desperate and off balanced mentally.

Hey Butter, I have to say, I was SO excited when I first saw the advertisement for More to Love; HOWEVER, I was also worried! I was hoping they would NOT pick a bunch of women who are so insecure and unstable that it would make all bbw's look desperate and perpetuate the idea that big women will do ANYTHING for love and attention. This show could have been a GREAT show to showcase how large or small, size does NOT matter in the search for love, but instead, I think it has once again, made large people look pathetic. I will, however, continue to watch JUST because i want to support the idea of more shows including larger people. :-)

Haven't seen it, but am looking forward to seeing it. And, of COURSE they preyed upon these women. That's what it's all about. And these women signed up for it. You have to be an idiot to go into a show like this (after seeing the other versions of it--Survivor, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, American Idol--reality TV at its best) and not know what can happen! Yeah, they may need therapy, but they likely needed it before going intot he show. Best of luck to them. --True
